Established in 1978, PIVOT is one of the pioneer engineer ing and contracting firms in the UAE. We take pride in the fact that we have achieved remarkable growth over the last four decades and have been contributing significantly to the development of the UAE.

The company has attained prominence as a leader in the field of construction, engineer-ing and infrastructure through competence, competitiveness and timely delivery with highest quality standards and recognized safety performance. We have a long tradition of serving our valued clients to their optimum satisfaction through efficient management and excellent workmanship, which we continue to maintain with untiring efforts.

In an era of advanced technologies and new techniques, the engineering and construc-tion sectors are constantly progressing. It is our endeavor to ensure that we are capable of meeting those changes in both areas. We achieve the same by constantly updating our technical expertise through acquisition of the latest techniques as-well-as extensive training of our employees.

A vital aspects of our business is HSE and sustainability. We implement rigoruos and on going HSE training and consistently tale measures to evaluate our HSE procedures. The role of Quality Assurance and Quality Control is equally important. Prior to the execution of projects, Quality Inspection Plans are prepared. All inspection activities are recorded on their approval format. Upon completion of project, completion inspection record os submitted which is subsequently analyzed.

Construction is Pivot’s core competence and we continually strive to improve procedures and services that will benefit current and future projects. During our 43 years of operations, we have successfully completed more than 100 projects, including hotels, luxury villa com-pounds, high-rise buildings and shopping malls.

Our in-house engineering and technical resources teams include highly qualified and experienced civil engineers, qualitity surveyors, safety, quality and procurement engineers, who have susbstantial experi-ence in projects which ra nge in type, size and scale.

The Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) Division is staffed and managed by a skilled and experi-enced team of engineers and technicians. All aspects of MEP work are covered, from estimation, technical support, drafting, design support and the preparation of shop drawings. Additionally, there is a full team of highly qualified site personnel including foremen, chargehands and tradesmen, including electricians, plumbers, pipe fitters, ductmen, AC technicians and all necessary workshop personnel.

Having a fully operational and independent MEP division allows Pivot to execute MEP works on its pro-jects with fulll control and without the need for MEP subcontractors, thereby avoiding delays and extra expences.

We believe that exemplary health and safety practices, starts with awareness and education.

Our team of health and safety experts have developed a range of occupational health and safety proce-dures in accordance with the BS OHSAS 18001. They promote a healthy and safe working environment by providing a framework that allows the organization to consistently identify and control its helath and safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, aid legislative compliance and improve overall perfor-mance.

The Al Ain Ghareba and Al Sila’a Gharbia Emirati Housing and Infrastructure projects achieved the following:

• Water consumption reduction by 30% per year;• Energy consumption reduction by 25% per year;• Installation of a solar system to produce 80% of total hot water supply;• 20% of all construction material used at site was sourced within 500km of the site;• All timber and waterproofing material used was chlorine free;• Natural ventilation for the villas was increased by 25%;• Timber, false ceiling, gypsum board and ceramic material used are free of organic volatile and

formaldehyde content;• Water sub-metres are installed in the villa to control and detect any leakage;• Energy sub-metres are installed in the villa to control the energy consumption; • Thermostat and sensors are installed in all room for villas to control the using of AC cooling system; • Daylight was increased to reduce consumption of light energy; • 60% of construction waste recycled; • Protection of existing Al Ghaf trees;• No CCA trated timber;• The use of recycled, crushed concrete for sub-base material.

All projects were designed to achieve 2 Pearls under the Estidama Pearl Rating System for all Government founded projects.
