    3. The Descent of the Holy Ghost

    who through the Holy Ghost abideth with his

    Church for ever:

    O God, who didst teach the hearts of thy faithful

    people, by sending to them the light of thy HolySpirit: Grant us by the same Spirit to have a

    right judgment in all things, and evermore to

    rejoice in his holy comfort; through the merits ofChrist Jesus our Saviour, who liveth andreigneth with thee, in the unity of the sameSpirit, one God, world without end. Amen.

    4. The Assumption of our Lady

    who hath taken thee to himself:

    O God, who hast taken to thyself theblessed Virgin Mary, mother of thine only-

    begotten Son: Grant that we who, with her,have been redeemed by his blood may

    share with her the glory of thine eternalkingdom; through the same Jesus Christ our

    5. The Coronation of our Lady

    who doth crown thee with glory and honor:

    O Almighty God, who didst endue with singular

    humility and love, that we, with her, mayreceive from thy Son the crown of life which
