How the system works

Before it reaches your glass, your water is filtered through your Plumbline 

system’s  four  stages  of  filtration.  1 2 The  dual  prefiltration  stage 

removes  sediment,  other  small matter  and  chlorine,  and prepares  the 

water for the reverse osmosis stage.  3 The process of reverse osmosis is 

the most effective way to treat drinking water, and it’s this stage that does 

the heavy-duty cleaning of your water. The reverse osmosis membrane 

removes  dissolved  and  suspended  salts,  heavy  metals,  chemicals  and 

other contaminants that can cause you concern or make your water taste 

and smell bad. Once processed by  the  reverse osmosis membrane,  the 

water is then stored in a tank until you need it. Simply turn on your special 

drinking water faucet, and your water will travel from the storage tank to 

its final filtration stage where the  4 carbon postfilter will give the water one more cleaning. By 

catching any remaining tastes and odors, organic chemicals or dissolved gasses, it gives the final 

polish to your water. When the water hits your glass, pot, ice cube tray, measuring cup or pitcher,

you can be sure it’s clean, clear and fresh-tasting.
