Benefits To Participating Farms And Workers There is a need to determine the most effective training methods for dairy workers. Using the most effective method will result in a safer workforce and less waste of resources and time. Similarly, better understanding of healthy adaptations to the dairy work environment can help maintain a healthy workforce. All participation in the studies is voluntary. Farms where workers The Partnership for Dairy Safety and Health: The University of Washington and Washington State University are partnering in a joint effort with the dairy industry to promote safety and health in Washington dairy farming. The goal of this research and training collaboration is to work in partnership with dairy producers on programs that could enhance safety and health on dairy farms.
