PASTORAL CORNER CORRECTION GIVEN IN LOVE
Our society today is torn between two extremes: that of not caring about what others do, and that
of intruding into the private lives of individuals in order to discover and expose hidden misdeeds
or weaknesses. A real disciple of Jesus cannot approve of either. We must care for our
neighbour. We should feel responsible for their spiritual as well as their physical welfare. Such
an attitude of brotherly/sisterly concern may put on us the burden of giving fraternal correction to
the person concerned. This may prove to be quite a challenge, for very few people know how to
give corrections in a real Christian manner. Equally few are those who know how to accept cor-
rections graciously and gratefully. The readings today present to us the manners of Christian cor-
rections. In this Eucharist therefore, let us ask for the grace to be able to care both for the spiri-
tual and physical need of our brothers and sisters in all humility and Christian courage. HOLY SPIRIT: INSPIRE US

************************************************************************* NEW PARISH SACRAMENT COORDINATOR NEEDED
“Thank You to Benna Masbate”
On behalf of the Holy Spirit Parish Community, a very sincere “thank you” to Benna Masbate, our parish Sacramental Coordinator for the excellent work she did these past two years in coordinating Sacramental program in the parish. She really put in her best and we remain ever grateful to her. Due to study and work reasons, she will no longer be able to continue to coordinate Sacramental program in the parish. As a result, we are looking for somebody who can volunteer to be our Parish Sacrament Coordinator to take up this grace-filled and enriching ministry. Thank you for your anticipated cooperation.

MARRIAGE PLEBISCITE UPDATE The High Court of Australia has ruled that the marriage
plebiscite can go ahead. Australians will now begin receiving
ballot papers from this week. This plebiscite is a referendum on
freedoms and education. Changing the Marriage Act will have
consequences for what kids are taught in school. It will have
consequences for freedom of speech and freedom of religion. By
working together, we absolutely can win this campaign. This is
the moment to intensify our effort and campaign to vote
humanly, morally, and massively by saying capital “NO” to
same-sex-marriage. May we continue to be strengthened and
encouraged to persevere in prayer and good work.

Rosary, Adoration, and Benediction from 6.00-7.00pm every Fri-day at the Church. We commend the Plebiscite on “Same Sex Mar-riage” into the Maternal Intercession of Our Blessed Virgin Mary. All are welcome to be part of this community and spiritual battle against the forces of evil and darkness that reigns in the heavenly and high places. Remember, the battle is spiritual, not carnal. In order to win this war, we need to change the battle ground to the realm of the Spiritual. Come, let us fight together through the powerful intercession of Mary, our Blessed Mother. Let’s claim the victory through Her.
