THE SOLUTIONWe propose a four-step solution to really develop and embed an Ownership Mindset.

1. Ownership Mindset Workshop (1 day)

2. The Laughter Project (1 day)

3. Speed of Trust Workshop (1 day)

4. Executive Coaching (6 sessions per individual)

OUTCOMESAt the end of the journey participants will

• know how to tailor their communication to develop ownership

• understand the neuroscience behind ownership

• deal with key team / manager issues that were hindering ownership

• have an increased sense of ownership for their work and team and why it is important

• have easy-to-implement communication principles to foster collaboration and ownership

• increased trust in one another and know how to keep building that trust

• coaching to help them work through some of the more challenging issues

OWNERSHIP MINDSET • Module 1: Why Ownership Matters (using

experiential sessions to help teams see the importance)

• Module 2: Understanding Perception (encourages people to listen and learn with an open mind)

• Module 3: The Neuroscience of Ownership

• Module 4: The IPL Challenge (the team is required to develop a plan and sales pitch for an alternative to the IPL. We use this as the crux of the day to observe and de-brief some of the challenges within the team pertaining to Ownership Mindset)

• Module 5: Transactional Analysis (training to use parent-to-parent transactions is critical to fostering an Ownership Mindset)

• Module 6: The Power of ‘Mine’ (developing a mindset of responsibility, not blame)

THE LAUGHTER PROJECT© The Laughter Project is an innovative workshop that uses the principles of Improv Comedy to improve team communication, foster creativity, reduce conflict and enhance collaboration.

• Module 1: Self-confidence

• Module 2: Yes, and (instead of shooting down an idea, see how you can build it up)

• Module 3: Outcome-based listening (listening with intent)

• Module 4: Make your co-actor look good (a paradigm shift in mindset)

• Module 5: Questions that Build (how to ask questions that give more than they take)

• Module 6: Bringing it all together (applying this to company-specific situations in role play)

SPEED OF TRUSTTwo weeks after ‘The Laughter Project’ , we gather the team together to review implementation from the ‘Ownership Mindset’ and ‘The Laughter Project’ and talk through any key issues. We cement the learning through developing trust using the Speed of Trust framework:

• Module 1: Integrity

• Module 2: Intent

• Module 3: Capabilities

• Module 4: Results

• Module 5: The Behaviours that Build Trust
