Has 60 Clubs with ~3,700 Rotarians We encompass 9 Counties: Austin,
Brazoria, Colorado, Fort Bend, Harris, Waller, Washington, Matagorda, and Wharton
There are 9 Districts in
Texas and part of another.

Basic District Leadership
Each district is governed by a District Governor. He or She is the only Official Rotary International Officer for that district.
The District Governor serves for one year.

District Leadership Continued Each Governor appoints several
assistant Governors to help them oversee the clubs
This year we have 6 Lieutenant Governors who assist 2-3 Assistant Governors.
WE have17 Assistant Governors (AG’s). Each AG is assigned to ~2-4 clubs

The Paul Harris Fellowship, where individuals are recognized for
service contributions in a distinctive and honorable fashion.
Whether a Rotarian or non-Rotarian it is a distinct honor to be awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship.

Participation and/or Working: In your fund raisers Service Projects Committee activities
Attendance –100% is encouraged 50% is required. 30 % in your club
Cannot miss more that 4 consecutive meetings
We are obligated to share Rotary Membership with other qualified business representatives

Attendance
Unlike other organization, attendance at Rotary meetings is not an option.—We are expected to attend.
Attend your club meeting or the meeting of another Rotary Club within 14 days of your missed meeting.

Why We Stress Attendance
Attendance at meeting assures us of quality programs.
Allows us to meet our meeting place minimums and keep costs down.
Allows us to take advantage of prepaid meals.
Gives us the opportunity to network and become involved in the service activities of the club.

Financial Cost
You must pay Annual Club Dues. From these dues your clubs pays dues for you to Rotary International and to your District.
If meals are served at your meetings you must also pay that cost.
Additional activities/Events $200/year estimate
It is estimated that minimum Rotarian expenses will be between $850 --$1,250/yr.

What Do You Get Out of Rotary? Some members feel one of
the most enjoyable things we get out of Rotary is the opportunity to make new friends outside our usual realm of activity.
And of course we get to join with these new friends in service and fellowship
