OPPORTUNITIES IN CHILDREN’S MINISTRY: The young ones in our church family are in need of caregivers and leaders. Nursery caregivers are needed on Sunday mornings, especially during the 10:30 service, and Sunday evenings. Additionally, the older class (grades 2 through 4) of children's church still needs someone to lead them during October and November. If you believe that God is calling you to be part of this special ministry, please contact Cathy Boyanowski. Thank you for your prayerful consideration of these exciting opportunities!
The 2017 Budget, Calendar and Officer List are available in the narthex for those who would like copies.

Inside each “pocket” on the board are slips of paper with the information for each student. Please consider taking one or more names to send Valentine Greetings to. Use your imagination – greeting cards, gift cards, goodies, etc. Let’s give each a “taste of home” as they check their mailboxes. A JOYFUL IDEA in 2017! If you plan to buy groceries this year, please consider buying grocery gift cards to support JOY Pantry. Here's how it works: For every $100.00 in gift cards you buy to use at BG's, Giant, Redner's or Weis, $5.00 will go to support JOY Pantry. You get $100 worth of groceries and JOY gets $5.00. You're going to eat anyway, so you can feel good about it knowing you helped to feed others as well. To purchase the gift cards, please see Kathy Smith. They can be purchased in various amounts.
A Spring Musical is blooming into being for all kids K-8th. A planning meeting for adults who would want to be a part of helping is happening on Monday, January 16 at 7pm. We will need help with costumes, acting, singing, set design, publicity, crowd control and much more. If you would like to help but can't make the meeting please let Jess Grimes know of your interest. PRAYER CHAIN: It’s time to update the prayer chain. Please notify the office if you would like to be added to those receiving prayer chain messages. There are two ways to receive the messages – by email or by phone. If you would like to be added to our email list, please email the church office [email protected]. If you would like to be added to the phone chain, please call the office at 865-7469. Those on the phone chain are asked to call at least one person. An updated list will be sent to you with the person you would call. Also, if you would no longer like to receive the prayer chain messages, please contact the office. Thank you. PEANUT BUTTER JARS are again being collected for Operation Christmas Child shoeboxes. Please make sure they are the 16 ounce size with the label removed. They can be placed in the container on the shelf outside the handicap restroom. Expression of Thanks: “Thank you for partnering with us and donating diapers and baby clothing to our clinic. Your ongoing support is such and encouragement to our clients and their families.
