Luke 18:16 On April 23, 2011 God called to His presence the spirit of Master Devin Rashad Hawkins (Chumpy), 13. Devin was born on October 10, 1997 to Octavius R. and Felecia E. Hawkins in Petersburg, VA. His spiritual nurturing began at the Metropolitan Baptist Church; he also was a thriving student as a sixth grader at Carver Middle School. As a gifted athlete he excelled in the game of Football and showed his gift for the game each season with Harrowgate & Marguerite Christian Football Programs. He leaves to remember his life his father, Octavius R. Hawkins, mother, Felecia E. Hawkins; five brothers, Dravode W. McDade, Desmond M. Hawkins, Darius R. Hawkins, Tyree Hawkins and Brandon Knauls; one sister Ta’Keila Daniece Kershaw; paternal grandparents, Donald G. & Toni A. Hawkins; maternal grandparents, Donna Outley & James E. McDade; great-grandmothers, Clarice Shoulders & Alice McDade; two uncles, Nakia D. Hawkins (Amanda) & Marcus McDade (Michele); one aunt, Tamara M. Prosise (Mario); and a host of great- uncles, aunts, cousins, friends and The Housing Commu- nity of Broadwater. The father acknowledges the special friendship of Tyronza Hudson as well as the close friendship that had developed between Devin and Master Jamal King. On April 23, 2011 God called to His presence the spirit of Master Devin Rashad Hawkins (Chumpy), 13. Devin was born on October 10, 1997 to Octavius R. and Felecia E. Hawkins in Petersburg, VA.
