I, Richard Michael Dean,do solemnly swear that I will support and defendthe Constitution of the United States of America, against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same;and that I will obey the ordersof the President of the United States and the ordersof the officers appointed over me,according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God.Its the oath that I’ve given life toan oath taken to fight for what’s true It sent chills down my spine when I raised my right handand recited the oath when given the commandI just stood there as the tears start to buildcaused by the pride of which my heart was filledIt was official, I was sworn in, into the fightNow another muscle of Americas mightmight that can be soft, and might that can crushSoldiers that fight...rush after rushnever give up..fight to the deathIll stick by my rifle, Ill give my last breathalive or dead never leave a man behindI'll get him out..whatever the bindtogether we'll hurt, and together we'll crytogether we'll pray, and together we'll diethe fight may be over but the war will go onIt won't end until the last enemies gonethen they'll look to the sky as the flag is risenand remember the Soldiers that have escaped this prisonthe stars and stripes, the red, white, and blueflown still cause of the lives paid, for me and you
