I, Richard Michael Dean, do solemnly swear that I will support and defend the Constitution of the United States of America, against all enemies, foreign and domestic; that I will bear true faith and allegiance to the same; and that I will obey the orders of the President of the United States and the orders of the officers appointed over me, according to regulations and the Uniform Code of Military Justice. So help me God. Its the oath that I’ve given life to an oath taken to fight for what’s true It sent chills down my spine when I raised my right hand and recited the oath when given the command I just stood there as the tears start to build caused by the pride of which my heart was filled It was official, I was sworn in, into the fight Now another muscle of Americas might might that can be soft, and might that can crush Soldiers that fight...rush after rush never give up..fight to the death Ill stick by my rifle, Ill give my last breath alive or dead never leave a man behind I'll get him out..whatever the bind together we'll hurt, and together we'll cry together we'll pray, and together we'll die the fight may be over but the war will go on It won't end until the last enemies gone then they'll look to the sky as the flag is risen and remember the Soldiers that have escaped this prison the stars and stripes, the red, white, and blue flown still cause of the lives paid, for me and you
