PresidentThorman opened the 40th meeting of his tenure in the Rotary Year 2013-2014, TO AN OUTSTANDING
AUDIENCE WHICH INCLUDED FOUR OF HIS FAMILY MEMBERS.
He then asked VICKY BOATWRIGHT, to lead in the "Pledge" and give the "Thought for theday." VICKY led the "Pledge" and then PRESENTED TWO POSITIVE THOUGHTS....

THE GOLF TOURNAMENT PREPRARATION CONTINUES BUT RICHBROWN ANNOUNCED THAT WE ARE IN GREAT NEED FORRAFFLE PRIZES. AT THIS TIME WE HAVE ONLY ONE OR TWO ANDMUCH MORE IS NEEDED!JAY SEDLAK MENTIONED THAT WE ARE IN NEED OF FIVE OR SIXMORE "FOURSOMES" TO FILL SLOTS FOR PARTICIPANTS. HE

Cai’s presentation was extremely interestingand instructive. She discussed her plans for theUC Davis study abroad program in Turkey.Students will be obtaining knowledge forprojects and will be doing under waterexcavation and reviewing Greek and Roman

Sheindicated that there is a lot of history in Turkey.She took the members and guests on a visualand informative trip she will be taking forapproximately 28 days.
