    Come along and enjoy a cup of tea and join this free workshop. You will be able to make your very own bracelet. Suitable for all ages and a great way to meet new people alongside being creative. There is the option to stay afterwards for lunch or a slice of cake - normal menu fees apply.

    Jewellery workshop

    A fantastic evening for the whole family to enjoy together! Come and take part in lighting hundreds of candles and enjoy performances from the church choir. During the evening there will be a must see stunning fire show, and a chance to warm up with hot chocolate, tea and coffee with proceeds going to the work of the Kingston School PTA.

    Candle Fest

    The Noise Arts Festival holds an annual photography competition. This exhibition showcases the entries and our judge, David Turner will also announce the results of this years competition. There will be a chance to discuss photography with a question and answer session during the afternoon.

    Our Caf Church is an opportunity to enjoy a relaxed caf atmosphere and engage with church in a fresh way. There will be tea, coffee and cake served at the beginning and a chance to discuss a topic with those around your table. The conversation will be fuelled with a second helping of refreshments and a chance to meet new people, discuss questions and experience a different style of church service here at Thundersley Congregational Church.

    A morning of fun, mess & mayhem with an added bonus that you can leave the clearing up to us! Activities include painting, water and tactile play; remember to wear your old clothes! Adults can enjoy a chat and a cuppa while the children play. (The session is recommended for 3 - 5 year olds) Lunches are available to buy at the end of the session.

    Messy Play Session

    Come along for an afternoon of fun; there will be plenty of activities to get involved in, including craft, workshops, side stalls, games and live music! For some activities there is a small charge. There is also a tuck shop and lunches are available to buy as well.

    Join us for an exciting quiz with a wide range of topics including music, sport, general knowledge and history as well as enjoying some brilliant company and a lovely portion of fish and chips (chicken option). Teas and coffees will be served during the evening. (Pre-booking is required for this event)

  • Join in the fun with this great activity session for children run by The Art Ministry from Hadleigh. Children will have the chance to make various items and take part in fun activities, while the adults can join in or sit back and enjoy a chat and a cup of tea!

    Craft activity morning

    James talks about his new series of books Boyface using all the skills youd expect from the worlds first stand-up comedian for children. Not only will this show entertain fans of the book and newcomers to his work. James inspires children to write their own stories based on some of the key concepts from Boyface. Over the last 15 years, James has performed on Blue Peter, sold out at the Queen Elizabeth Hall and completed a highly acclaimed Broadway season at The New Victory Theatre in New York, dont miss him here in Thundersley!

    Enjoy a delicious three course dinner served to you at your table before the show starts. The evening will include a fantastic performance of some of the key songs from the West End Shows, including Wicked, Oliver and Les Miserables performed by professional singers and dancers from NGM. (Pre-booking is required for this event)

    Drumming Workshop

    Whether it is your birthday or not you are invited to join the party! There will be plenty of fun, games and a party buffet for the children to enjoy and a cup of tea for parents as well. The party is recommended for children aged 5 upwards. (Pre-booking is required for this event)

    For the very first time The Noise Arts Festival have organised an inter-school art competition for the schools in Castle Point. We have been amazed by the entries that we have received. This is your chance to come and view the works entered. There will be some light refreshments and you will find out who won the competition.

    Afternoon birthday party

    INTER SCHOOL ART EXHBITION

    Enjoy the experience of drumming in this workshop. A chance for young and old to learn rhythm in a fun and exciting way. People can have a go at a variety of drums and piece together a rhythm as a larger group led by the brilliant Steve Cooper. There is the option to stay for lunch; normal lunch menu fees apply.

  • Come along and enjoy this free workshop with a chance to create your own flower arrangement to take home. There will also be a floral demonstration and a chance to ask questions and learn more. There is the option to stay on and talk further over lunch. Normal lunch menu fees apply.

    Flower arranging workshop

    Come along and take part in this workshop. Learn some new skills in cupcake decorating and then enjoy eating your mornings work. There will be a chance to see demonstrations, share some of your own tips and learn some new ones. There is also the option to stay for lunch. Normal menu fees apply. (Session aimed aged 14 and upwards)

    Without a script, and making everything up on the spot, Non De Script provide an evening of laughter and fun. The evening is a mixture of physical comedy, word-play, and audience participation where you, as the audience, become one of the stars of the show. Every show is different! The evening comes fuelled with tea, coffee and cake!

  • A show full of wonder, mayhem and close encounters of the fairy kind. Miss Amelia Buttersnap is an expert on fairies but she has never even seen one! She needs to photograph one for her book but how can she get one? Fantastic entertainment for children with a blend of comedy, shadow puppetry all followed by jelly and ice-cream!

    Have fun as a family exploring and looking for clues in the woods, which will turn into a prize. The starting point is the information board at the Common Approach end of Thundersley Common. Come along for some fun and be prepared as the woods maybe muddy on parts of the trail.

    Woodland Treasure hunt

    Join MC Tony Vino as he takes us on a journey of laughs with comedian and all round entertainer Steve Royle, winner of entertainer of the year at the recent Red Rose Awards and Howard Read who is best known for being one half (and the other half), of the Big Howard, Little Howard, the world's first human cartoon double-act.

  • For those who like photography and walking, or either one or the other! -Starting at 10.00am with a walk on Thundersley Common to take pictures. Then back for a bacon roll and a cup of tea. A prize will be awarded for the best photo taken on the day judged by those who took part. The tea and bacon roll are included in this free workshop.

    Two sitting times available to enjoy afternoon tea with plenty of sandwiches, cakes and of course, tea! The afternoon will be accompanied by local musicians so you can sit back, relax, and enjoy the music with your friends. (Booking is required please call with your preferred time and the number within your group.)

    Come along for a fantastic Chinese buffet meal and hear about the life of former professional footballer Linvoy Primus MBE. Linvoy has had a successful career with Portsmouth Football Club, with the Milton End of Fratton Park being renamed in his honour due to his outstanding services to the club. Dont miss out on a great evening.

    Another chance to find out what Church is about. The service will be a great way to round off a brilliant festival, and we will be joined the band The Sense a band of talented musicians working in schools across the UK and Europe. Afterwards stay for tea and coffee and enjoy a slice of our large birthday cake!

    Knit & natter taster session Enjoy a free taster session and give knitting a go with a chance to meet new people and have plenty of fun. This is a special session as part of the art festival, so come along enjoy a coffee and see how you get on!

    This session takes place at Bodkins, Hart Road, Thundersley, on Wednesday 28th October between 12pm - 2pm pop in during those times and join in.

    Firework and family

    Fun Night 7th November Do not miss out on our popular evening of family entertainment, including a massive fireworks display, side stalls, bouncy castle, candy floss, hotdogs, popcorn, craft and live entertainment. All activities are inside so its a great chance to warm up after the
