Welcome
• Hosted a free SAT Practice Exam for all students
• Raised nearly $40,000 as a Booster Club
• Total fundraising including the umbrella clubs over $60,000
• Aided the “Join the fight” Basketball Cancer fundraiser
• Giving out scholarships to 29 Varsity Sports plus 2 for Most
Spirited
• Flu-Clinics for the community
• Aided the Annual NHHS College Athletic Commitment Day
• Senior Athletic Banquet
• Coaches' Breakfast in October
• Custodian's Lunch and Gifts in January
• Donated $275 to Special Olympics from Dave the Rave's

The Destination Athlete Senior
Scholarship Award $250 and a plaque given by Destination Athlete to an NHHS senior
athlete who is an outstanding community citizen, has a GPA of 3.5
or above, who participated in at least two varsity sports their senior
year, and who exemplifies true leadership qualities and acts as a
positive role model and mentor to other athletes.

The Great American Rivalry Football
Scholarship Award
As part of North Hunterdon’s participation in the 2016 Great
American Rivalry Series, they awarded our team’s most deserving
senior football letterman with the highest GPA a college scholarship
for $250.

Harry Vandermark Memorial Wrestling Award $200 given in memory of the Head Wrestling Coach at

The Herff Jones Scholarship Award $250 given to a male or female student athlete who has

The Hunterdon Lions Track Club Award $500 given by the Hunterdon Lions Track Club to a senior boy and
girl athlete who was a varsity member of the cross country, indoor
track or spring track team; was a member of the Hunterdon Lions
Track program prior to high school or helped significantly with the
program as a volunteer high school student; who consistently
demonstrated passion for the sport and good sportsmanship; and
who will be attending a college in the fall.

Association Scholar Athlete Award
Given by the Hunterdon Warren County Athletic Association to a male
and female representative of North Hunterdon High School for

their awards at an Association luncheon held in May. The

Martin Niederer Memorial Scholarship Award
$1,000 Given to a Senior basketball and/or golf player in
honor of Martin Niederer, a 1995 graduate of North

The Richard Moore Scholarship Award $250 given to a senior girl and boy athlete in soccer, basketball
or softball who holds himself or herself accountable and shows
intensity, heart, hustle, and passion for the game at all times.
This athlete should be one that inspires others around them
to raise their level of play and should be one that has a
natural “fire” for competition.

NHHS Booster Club Team Senior Scholarships
The NHHS Booster Club has awarded $250 team
scholarships to senior athletes, who are in good class
standing, and meet the following criteria: The athletes have
been chosen by his\her peers from the varsity teams.
Leadership – this senior athlete must display leadership qualities at all games
and team practices.
Attitude – this senior athlete serves as a role model to his\her teammates and
possesses a positive attitude towards teammates and the game.
Spirit – this senior athlete exhibits team spirit at all times, whether the team is
winning or losing and regardless of his/her own athletic ability.
Sportsmanship – this senior athlete shows respect towards teammates,
coaches, opponents and officials at all times.
