Check out Pizza with the Pastors, a gathering that includes free pizza, refreshments, and the opportunity to connect with other people who attend Federated. Join us on Sunday, January 18 at 11:30am after the service.
ANNUAL BUSINESS MEETING: If you’re a member or regular attendee of Federated, we ask that you join us for our Annual Business Meeting @ 11:30am after the service on January 25. It is a great opportunity to look back at 2014 at Federated. You’ll also hear a bit about the upcoming year and how God has blessed us to be a blessing to our communities & others!
If you consider Federated your church home we would love to have you participate in helping us update our picture directory. Please submit a picture to the church office either by flash drive or email ([email protected]). *Horizontal pictures work best. Don’t have a picture in mind? We will be taking pictures before (9:30-9:50) and after the service on the following Sundays: January 11, 18, 25, and February 1. Also, please sign up for your copy of the picture directory. There is a sign up sheet available in the foyer and you will be able to sign up from now until February 1, so that the directories can be printed and ready for pick up by the end of February-beginning of March. Please contact the church office if you have any questions.

Women’s ministry will have a new Bible Study in January! We will study Priscilla Shirer’s new book “Gideon: Your Weakness, God’s Strength.” This study will encourage you to recognize your weakness as the key that the Lord gives you to unlock the full experience of His strength in your life. Instead of ignoring, neglecting, or trying to escape your weaknesses, see them as the gifts that they are, given specifically and strategically by God to unlock the door of God's strength. excerpt from Amazon.comThe study will meet on Wednesdays beginning January 14. Offered at 9:30am & 7pm. Sign up on our website or on Sunday!
We will be offering a women’s Bible Study in Oskaloosa beginning Wednesday, January 28. The group will be going through the book “All In” by Mark Batterson. Many people believe they are following Jesus, but they have mistakenly invited Jesus to follow them. Mark Batterson calls it the inverted gospel. He challanges you to go all in and all out by fully surrendering your life to the lordship of Jesus Christ. That is when the true adventure begins. excerpt from book coverThe group will meet at the Oskaloosa Smokey Row from 6:30-8:00pm. You can sign up at the church or online. Please sign up by January 18 so that we can order books. If you have any questions please contact the church office or Denise Rodwell; [email protected]
