As Kymone Freeman has said:
St. Louis District Attorney Robert McCullough stacked the jury, he manipulated witnesses
in some cases with people he knew to be lying. He allowed no adversarial cross examination and
then presented the findings as though they were arrived at justly," said Kymone Freeman,
Program Director for We Act Radio. "He stalled for three full months while decent people
were getting beaten, shot, pepper sprayed, sound bombed and tear gassed when he could have
accomplished all he had to do in a single day's work by acknowledging that 16 people said
Michael Brown's hands were up when he was murdered. It was not up to Bob McCullough to
decide guilt or innocence in this case.It was up to him to let a jury decide. But that would have
included Michael Brown's peers and McCullough couldn't risk exposing one of his goons to a
fair trial."

My grandson...was a beautiful boy, so don't you believe the stories they tell you about whathe was and wasn't. He was a gentle, loving caring boy. He might have been big, but he wasn'tscary. I love him. Whatever injustice is done today has to be addressed...I want you all to standtogether and say: We don't want this anymore...I want my grandson's death to meansomething...I am asking you to stand and say this is wrong. Across the world, I'm hoping thishappens. It's time

The only normalcy that we will settle for is the normalcy that allows justice to run
down like waters, and righteousness like a mighty stream. The only normalcy that we
will settle for is the normalcy of brotherhood, the normalcy of true peace, the
normalcy of justice

Solutions
Activists are protesting, working in grassroots organization, and they have plans plusstrategies too. The activists want the following goals:
*The total demilitarization of the local police including the ending of the 1033 program is anecessity.
*There should be a massive community oversight and review of police activities in thecommunities of America. These civilian review boards should reflect the compositions of thecommunities.
*Any police officers accused of abuse and murder should be arrested and gone through dueprocess without token jury reviews.
*There must be the total end to the War on Drugs and the prison industrial complex.
Afterwards, there should be the establishment of alternatives that focus on drug treatmentand community building.
*The growth of alliances among black people internationally and all oppressed people of theEarth. There must always be an opposition to classism, misogyny, lookism, and any form ofbigotry, discrimination, and oppression.
*The total end to imperialism in the world is a great goal to fight for. Self-determination issuperior to imperialism as imperialism is totally evil.
*A federal law banning racial profiling is excellent.
