MORE CONTROL WHEN YOU NEED IT MOST.

There’s nothing more embarrassing, or even downright dangerous, than your vehicle rolling backwards when you’re attempting to start it and drive up a steep incline. Once again, Opel have thought of everything.

The new Opel Mokka X comes with Hill Start Assist (HSA). When you start or park on steep hills, HSA automatically holds the brakes for a moment, so there’s no risk of rolling the wrong way.

AFL LED. PUT OTHER LIGHTS IN THE SHADE.

The MOKKA X is the first SUV in its category to offer full LED Adaptive Forward Lighting (AFL)1, an option previously available only in expensive SUVs. LED beams let you see hazards sooner, so you have more time to react.

• 6 LED elements light the road 30 % brighter than halogen• AFL automatically adapts to factors like speed and steering-

wheel angle• The system then selects the most suitable lighting (below)

Stop Mode Light (eco). Switches off the cornering lights to save energy (when Start/Stop mode is on).

Country Light (above 55 km/h). A longer, broader, dazzle-free low beam that helps highlight roadside hazards such as deer.

Back-up/Manoeuvring Light (in reverse gear). Activates additional front cornering lights on both sides so it’s easier to get in and out of parking spots.

Town Light (below 55 km/h). A wider spread of light shows more of the roadside to help highlight pedestrians or potential hazards.

Static Cornering Light (up to 40 km/h). If you indicate and turn the steering wheel above a certain angle, an LED light comes on so you can see better what’s around the corner.

High Beam Assist. Full-on lighting for maximum visibility. HBA automatically dips your headlights when it detects other vehicles.

Dynamic Curve Light (40 to 70 km/h). Above a set steering angle and speed, extra light on the relevant side gives you a better view.

Tourist Mode. Driving abroad on the other side of the road? Don’t worry – your lights will dip automatically.

ENHANCED FUEL ECONOMY.

ecoFLEX Drive Assist1

As well as showing the driver when to shift gear for optimal economy, the ecoFLEX Drive Assist also shows the equipment that is using the most energy, together with the fuel consumption history for the previous 50 kilometres. For this it has three sub-menus that are shown in the central display between the instruments.

1. Economy index and up-shift displayThis graphic shows the current level of economy – maximum if you’re driving responsibly, or minimum if you’re pushing the vehicle too hard. There is also an arrow which tells you when to shift up for maximum fuel economy.

2. Additional energy consumptionThis sub-menu shows the additional consumption for the electrical systems currently in use. The average economy is also shown.

3. Fuel consumption statisticsThe efficiency of the driving pattern for the last 50 kilometres is shown in 5 km segments. The higher the level of the graphic elements, the higher the level of consumption.

Start/Stop SystemIn keeping with the need for maximum economy and lower emissions, the new Opel Mokka X comes with the Start/Stop System as standard on engines with manual transmission.
