THE NATIVITY OF THE LORD December 25, 2016
Queridos Amigos,
ustedes. ¡Feliz Navidad!
+Fr Simón
Dear Friends,
I wish you all a very merry and blessed Christmas!!! How
beautiful it is to gather together as God's family, celebrating the
birth of Our Lord Jesus.
I am so happy to be here with all of you. This is such an amazing
parish with so many wonderful things happening. Everything is
so *full of life* here at Sacred Heart.
For example, our Christmas dinner for the needy, WOW, it was
so good and the Christmas caroling beforehand led by our
children was so joyful and uplifting for everyone. And at the
dinner over 750 plates were served! What a beautiful way that
we welcome Jesus at His birth, by serving those around us in
need.
I was thinking how truly lucky we are here, and what a great
place and community this is to raise a family. And for all,
married or single, old or young, this is just an amazing parish all
of us growing together in God's grace and in our relationship
with the One who loves us all with an eternal and undying
love. Indeed, the Christ-centered and service-oriented fellowship
that we have and share is something that so many people really
long for in their lives, even sometimes without knowing it.
There is simply no place on earth that I would rather be than here
at Sacred Heart. And it is because of *you all,* because of the
unbelievable people here that this is such a special place. Here,
people can truly find God in the sacraments, in the Word of God
being broken open, and in the love we have for one another.
I pray that we may so continue in our spiritual journey together,
not only every Sunday that we gather around the Altar to receive
Jesus' love, but every single day; may we continue to live and
pass on the love and mercy that we have found in the person of
Our Lord Jesus Christ, who is true God and true man, and who
was born of the Virgin Mary on this happy day for us and our
salvation.
The love of Jesus, our new born King, be with you all. Merry
Christmas!
+Fr Simon

BIENVENIDOS
poder servir a nuestra hermosa
comunidad hispana. Dicho esto
quiero que sepan que si tiene
cualquier necesidad Sacramental,
podemos ayudarles. Se ofrece
Bautismo, preparación para el
Matrimonio, etc. Lo mas fabuloso es
que ahora también es en Español
aquí. Por favor, venga o llame a la
oficina para que le podamos asistir en
sus necesidades espirituales. También,
los niños están invitados a que asistan
a las clases de Catecismo que
comienzan en enero 11 de 2017. Lo
único que tienen que hacer es
registrarse antes. Tenemos las formas
necesarias en la oficina. No se
preocupen porque nosotros les
ayudamos con todo eso.

COME JOIN US!
We have wonderful bible studies and adult education
at our parish. Every Wednesday night at 6PM we have
for the whole family and fun classes for children ages
pre-K to 5th grade We start up again on January 11.
Also our incredible Youth Group meets every Sunday
from 4pm to 6pm. This is for all young people in
middle school and high school. In addition to
learning about the Bible and our Catholic Faith, we
have a lot of fun and have trips and service projects.
With all the bad influences out there, it is so great to
have here such a large and active Youth Group where
solid Christ-based friendships can be formed.
