THE MOVIE WORLD SURVEY
Our group: Mariona, Marc, Jaume, Aina Colom and Helena decided
to do a survey on "The Movie World". In this survey, we asked the
pupils of Mata de Jonc about actors, movies and popcorn, etc.
Do you like going to the cinema?
Looking at the results of this question, we can see that nearly
everyone in ESO at Mata de Jonc likes going to the cinema.Nobody
hates it, only 1,97% said "not really", and 0,97% don't mind it.The
remaining percentage is divided in: 61,17% like it and 35,92 love
it.
How often do you go to de cinema?
In the second question, we saw that:a lot of students, 10,64%
and 32,98% go to the cinema once every week or once every two
weeks.But the biggest percentage is once a month, with 36,17%.A
19,15% hardly ever go, but only 1,06% said never.
What kind of films do you prefer?
The favourite kind of films in ESO are Action and Comedy, with
24% each.Romance and science-fiction are also popular, but drama
and thrillers aren't very popular.
What kind of actor do you prefer?
ESO's favourite actor is Will Smith, with 28,86%.Johnny Depp is
also popular (20,40%), and Brad Pitt.A lot of pupils didn't like
any of the actors we chose: 8,46% chose other actors.
What kind of actress do you prefer?
Angelina Jolie is very popular: she has 24,51% of the
votes.After her, come Megan Fox, Julia Roberts and Penlope
Cruz.Beln Rueda isn't very popular (3,92%).
What size of popcorn do you buy at the cinema?
Nearly half of the people buy popcorn (45,19%).Only 2,88% don't
buy popcorn.
What's your favourite movie?
Avatar is a very popular film: it has 18,14%.Pirates of the
Caribbean and American Pie both have more than 10%.Finding Nemo and
Twilight only had 3,43%.
How do you watch films?
Nearly everyone in ESO watch films: only 1,96% don't.Most of the
students download films or watch them on TV.
Do you think that cinema is too expensive?
A lot of people think going to the cinema is a bit or very
expensive (37 and 30 %).Only 5% find it cheap.
Who do you usually go to the cinema with?
Students prefer to go to the cinema with friends (54,46%).18,86%
go with their family, and 13,86% with their boyfriend or
girlfriend.12'87% go alone.
