The TELECOMMUNICATION 2019 exhibition was under the Honorary Patronage of The National
Council of Radio Broadcasting and Television and the Office of Electronic Communications
On 13-15 March Warsaw, capital of Poland, changed into the center of events gathering the lighting
and electrotechnical industry from around the world. This was due to the Trade Show LIGHT and Trade
Show ELECTRICITY, organized at the EXPO XXI Center in Warsaw. This is the only opportunity to get
acquainted with the latest offer of several hundred Polish and foreign companies, see premiere
products, innovative solutions and technologies that will set directions for development and will
undoubtedly find application in the Polish economy. It is also a place for the presentation of Polish
products to foreign contractors who, as the current
edition of the fair has shown, are increasingly coming
to Warsaw to establish contacts with Polish
manufacturers.
Trade Show LIGHT and Trade Show ELECTRICITY
together with the TELETECHNIKA Exhibition also have
an exceptionally rich program of accompanying
events - trainings, workshops, panel discussions and
industry consultations, exhibitions, and shows for
visitors. At this year's event, many competitions have
been resolved, prestigious awards and distinctions
have been awarded - among them prizes for the best
products presented at the fair, the Polish Chamber of
Civil Engineers Award and the 2018 Personality of the
Year Award from Electrical, Electrical Power,
Telecommunication and Lighting Industry.
The Trade Show LIGHT was accompanied by the Competition for the Best Illuminated City and
Commune of 2018 and the Best Lighting Investment 2018.
For the first time a competition for the best products and solutions in the field of electromobility was
held.
450 exhibitors presented their latest products and technologies to business customers who, in the
amount of more than 13,000, visited the EXPO XXI Exhibition Center in Warsaw during three days of
these events. They provided the opportunity to establish business relations and acquire new contacts.

27th International Trade Show LIGHT 2019, 17th International Trade Show ELECTRICITY 2019 and 9th
TELECOMMUNICATION 2019 Exhibition gathered a total of 450 exhibitors. In this edition, we recorded
a record number of foreign exhibitors. In addition to domestic companies, Exhibitors from the
following countries presented their products: Italy, Germany, Czech Republic, Lithuania, Ukraine,
Romania, the Netherlands, Hungary, Greece, Bulgaria, Russia, Algeria, China, South Africa, South
Korea.
During the LIGHT 2019 Fair and the ELECTRICITY 2019 Trade Show, many new products and premieres
were presented. There are many innovative solutions that will be used in construction, energy and
industry. Below are presented graphs reflecting the percentage breakdown of exhibitors by presented
products.

For the ninth time, within the ELECTRICITY 2019 Trade Show, the TELECOMMUNICATION Exhibition was a separate sector, presenting solutions related to telecommunications construction and teletechnical installations. The exhibition was dedicated to new devices and systems as well as practical aspects of design and implementation of telecommunication installations in buildings include multiple systems/networks: television, telephone, computer, intercom, CCTV, alarms etc.
The exhibition was directed to designers, distributors and contractors of teletechnical systems and
administrators of multi-family and public buildings. The exhibition was organized in cooperation with
the Polish Teletechnics Association XXI and the Polish Digital Radio Broadcasting Chamber. The
TELECOMMUNICATION 2019 exhibition was accompanied by a workshop Telecommunication
installation and teletechnical infrastructure.
The International Trade Show LIGHT and the International Trade Show ELECTRICITY is a B2B event,
addressed to professionals, qualified buyers and decision makers including producers, distributors,
architects and designers as well as senior technical supervision staff.
This year's edition of the Trade Shows was visited by 13.281 people – 30% more compared to the
previous edition. It is worth emphasizing that the number of visitors from abroad increases year by
year. We have recorded over a thousand visitors from abroad.
This edition was dominated by guests from European Union countries (among others from Germany,
Italy, Sweden, Czech Republic, Slovakia, Romania, Croatia, Hungary, Great Britain, France and the Baltic
States) as well as from Norway, Switzerland, Ukraine, Russia, Turkey, countries Maghreb, Egypt, the
Middle East, central African countries and Iraq.
Trade Show LIGHT and Trade Show ELECTRICITY are
held in the exhibition and training formula.
An integral part of these events were training and
conferences, workshops, discussion panels and
industry consultations addressed to designers,
architects, senior technical supervision staff,
investors, developers, representatives of local
governments, road managers, property managers,
representatives of energy companies, installers and
fitters.
A total of 16 trainings, workshops and conferences were organized, which gathered 1,105 people as
well as 20 meetings for architects in the Open Interior Zone, as well as workshops, trainings and
interactive shows for visitors.
Trainings, workshops and conferences:
• 16 training meetings were organized together with the Polish Chamber of Civil Engineers for
designers of electrical and power installations, senior technical staff and representatives of local
government units in the field of: electrical, lighting and telecommunication installations, fire safety,
energy efficiency, as well as construction law, building regulations and codes.

OPEN INTERIOR DESIGN ZONE
Together with architects and representatives of office
equipment and furnishing companies, 20 meetings and
discussion panels were organized, on which the subject of
the office, its lighting, acoustics, ergonomics and clean air
were discussed. The main partner of Open Interior Zone
was the LUG Light Factory, a Polish manufacturer of lighting
fittings.
Trade Show LIGHT and the Trade Show ELECTRICITY were accompanied also by workshops organized
by the Exhibitors:
Measurement workshops of the SONEL S.A. company
The workshops covered the following topics:
• Protective testing of electrical installations with
meters of the MPI family
• Power quality analysis in electrical installations with
PQM family analyzers
• Testing the safety of electrical devices with PAT
family testers
• Thermovision studies, practical tips for users
The workshop and demonstration zone of Schrack
Technik Polska combined with the finals of the
Specialist League Competition.
The meeting program included:
• Show VR virtual reality effects
• Exhibition of products in the field of electrical
switchboards, electrical apparatus, photovoltaic
systems, KNX intelligent building technology, lighting,
vehicle charging stations and ICT networks
• Presentation of the latest solutions and new products
Presentation topics:
• KNX intelligent home system - how to do it?
• Is it worth using monitoring in emergency lighting?
• Fiber optics in building teletechnical installations - ways of making connections
• Automatic generation of electrical diagrams - free tools for simple and quick design
• Optimization of the storage and order process in a small company
• Energy distribution system. 2000TT module in accordance with PN-EN 61439
OPEN INTERIOR ZONE
For the third time during LIGHT an OPEN INTERIOR Zone was created - a space designed and developed
by one of the top Polish architects - Justyna Smolec.
OPEN INTERIOR Zone by Justyna Smolec is a place of dialogue between architects, manufacturers and
suppliers of interior materials and furnishings. Designers and architects from all over Poland present
their thoughts, views, concepts and inspirations that were and will be implemented in the designed
facilities, and producers and suppliers of materials and equipment present their latest, often very
innovative, achievements.
The Open Interior program included, among others:
• talks about the possibilities offered by modern lighting solutions
• premiere screenings of products the following companies:
- LUG Light Factory - producer of lighting solutions
- Rockfon - a producer of acoustic solutions for walls and ceilings
- Anwis - producer of blinds and blinds
- Florabo - suppliers of green systems for improving air quality
- Home Design - interior furnishings
- Lentex
• lectures by invited guests - architects and experts in the design of offices and work spaces
• BIM workshops
• discussion panels
The discussion panels were attended by
well-known and respected Polish architects:
Justyna Smolec, author of Open Interior
Zones, Katarzyna Kowal, Anna Koszela,
Daria Burlińska, Katarzyna Kraszewska,
Tomasz Andrzej Rudkiewicz and Oskar
Grąbczewski.
THE EXHIBITION OF FINALISTS AND LAUREATES IN
THE CONTESTS The rhythm of LIGHT and OLED lamp
On March 14, a post-competition exhibition was
opened of creative competitions for students and
young architects and designers: The rhythm of LIGHT -
the house of dreams and OLED Lamp for recreation and
tourism were announced. The competitions were
organized under the honorary patronage of the Adam
Mickiewicz Institute - a government-sponsored
organization funded by Poland's Ministry of Culture
and National Heritage.
ELECTROMOBILITY ZONE
As part of the Trade Show, the Electromobility Zone was organized. The Electromobility Area is a
response to the Polish Act on Electromobility and Alternative Fuels as well as the resulting question:
How to plan the infrastructure of cities and municipalities for the purpose of introducing an electric
car charging network? How can the tendering for emission-free vehicles and charging stations be
conducted in the most efficient way?
The Electromobility Zone was the exhibition of electromobility solutions, where the visitors could see
electric vehicles: cars, bicycles and scooters. The exhibition also included solutions related to
electromobility, such as charging stations, rental and booking systems, and vehicle tracking systems.
The Electromobility Zone was accompanied by two training meetings: Street lighting in a modern city
as well as Electric vehicles in Polish cities.
Moreover, a competition was organized, the aim of which was to support the best solutions in the
electric vehicles industry.
"Meet your employer" WORKSHOPS
This is the second edition of the workshop in the field of teletechnical systems and maintenance, under
the name "Know your employer", organized during the TELETECHNIKA Exhibition in Warsaw.
Workshops allowed students to master their skills in modern telecommunications systems.
Classes were conducted by experts of the Polish Digital Broadcasting Chamber and the Polish
Teletechnic Association XXI.
In the exhibition area, an educational zone was separated, in which workshops and interactive
demonstration stations took place.
The workshops, organized by the Polish Teletechnic Association XXI and the Polish Digital Radiation
Association, have allowed students to master their skills in modern telecommunications systems.
During the classes, students learned about issues
related to fiber optic networks, installation of
terrestrial and satellite television antennas, principles
of construction and design of multiswitch TV-SAT signal
distribution systems.
Visitors from technical schools could also participate in
the ELECTRICITY 2019 and LIGHT 2019 Trade Shows.
Students who completed the full training cycle has
received a special diploma.
SPECIALIST LEAGUE
At the ELECTRICITY 2019 Trade Show the Competition
Final of the Specialist League was held along with an
award ceremony. During the last round there was a
competition for the main prize - Samsung
Smartwatch. The competition was addressed to
professional groups associated with the electrical and
teletechnical industry, including, first of all,
electricians, telecommunications technicians,
designers, inspectors, and work managers. The organizers of the competition were: SOMA Agency and
Schrack Polska.

27th International Trade Show LIGHT 2019 and 17th
International Trade Fair ELECTRICITY 2019 took place
under the honorary patronage of the Polish Ministry of
Enterprise and Technology.
28th International Trade Show LIGHT 2020 and 18th International Trade Show ELECTRICITY 2020 will be
held on February 5th – 7th, 2020 at the Warsaw EXPO XXI Exhibition Center.
