InhonouringtheHolyTrinitytodaywecelebratethegreatgi8ofGod’sloveforourworld.ThekeytotheTrinity is tounderstandthatthethreepersonswhomake ituptotally loveeachotherandarecompletelyinvolvedineachother'sacBons.Thisisimportantbecauseitprovidesuswithanimportantclueweneedtounderstandourselves.Weneedtoknowthatwewerecreatedinlove,withthisdignityandloveofGodtohumanity,wearemadeintheimageandlikenessofGod. Thispastweek,wehavewitnessedthehorrifickillingofGeorgeFloyd,subsequentlymanypeople triggered by the brutal killing are marching in solidarity to condemn and standagainstthepresenceofracismandtheinjusBcepeoplehavebeensufferingformanyyearsin theUS. This goesagainst thebasicbeliefofChrisBanity. Thisproblem isnot limited toAmericabutitexistsinmanypartsoftheworld.RacismanddiscriminaBonofanykindgoesagainsthumandignity.AswecelebratetheunityandloveoftheHolyTrinity,weaskforaspiritof reconciliaBonand forgivenessamonghumanbeingsandpray thatweall learn torespectthevalueanddignityofeachindividual.

TheparishFinancecommiPeeandIhavebeendiscussingthepainBngoftheinteriorofourchurchforsomeBme,inourrecentmeeBngwehavedecidedtodothisjobduringthislockdown,thisseemstheopportuneBmetodosuchajob.ThefinancecommiPeewouldliketoaskparishionerstocontributetowardsthisproject,wewillsoonhaveafewfundraisingevents,suchasZoomquiznights,wewillcommunicatewhenthisisorganisedandhowitwillwork.WeappreciateanycontribuBonyoumaybeabletomake.

CAFOD CAMPAIGN - Time to act: we can help the poorest and most vulnerable affected by coronavirus

Coronavirus has now spread worldwide, with confirmed cases in many countries where CAFOD works. The spread of this virus throughout countries with poor health systems will be devastating, and the threat to people’s livelihoods is grave.
