FATHER’S DAY INTENTIONS

Father’s Day is June 21st. Every year at St. Mary’s, we

remember fathers living and fathers deceased at a nine-day

novena of Masses and then our prayer of the faithful. Cards

and envelopes are available at the table outside the rectory

office. If you have your envelopes with names written them,

you may return them to the rectory, preferably before June

20th. If you do not have an envelope, you can make your own.

And if cannot drop them off, you can send the names by email

to churchstmary@aol.com. The priests offering Mass will

intend to pray for the intentions of all those who intend on

sending in the names with their Father’s Day Novena donation.

Cards and envelopes can also be obtained from the table

outside the rectory.

WEEKDAY DAILY MASSES RESUME

MONDAY TO FRIDAY

AT 8:30 AM

Please note the following:

• Governor Cuomo is limiting churches to 25% capacity.

• Carefully read the signs as you enter. If you have a fever or flu

like symptoms, do not enter.

• You are encouraged to use hand sanitizer as you enter. You may

also want to bring your own.

• There is no Holy Water in the fonts.

• Church windows will be open to allow fresh air to circulate.

• The bathroom IS NOT available.

• You MUST wear a mask to cover your mouth and nose.

• Pews will be blocked off so that everyone (except close family

who live together) is six feet apart.

• Holy Mass has infinite value a prayer. It is the same Sacrifice of

Jesus Christ on the Cross now offered in an unbloodymanner. Holy

Communion is the fullest participation in Mass for a soul that is in

the state of grace and disposed by prayer and fasting to receive

our Lord. While there is no obligation to receive Holy Communion

at every Mass, for those who are prepared to do so, our Lord’s

Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity will be administered after the final

blessing.

• Father will give instruction on the procedure to receive Holy

Communion.

SUNDAY MASSES

NOT YET PUBLIC: The dispensation from Holy Mass continues as

the Sunday Masses (including Saturday Vigil) will not be public

until a future date determined by the Archdiocese.

BAPTISMS

Those who have scheduled baptisms will soon be contacted to

arrange the date. Those who are willing to have baptisms on

days other than Saturday and Sunday will likely have a sooner

baptism.

FUNERALS/MEMORIAL MASS

Those who have had burials of loved ones here during the

lockdown are invited to call the Rectory to schedule a

Memorial Mass.

DE LUNES A VIERNES
