Dorna Sports is an international sports management, marketing and media company, founded in 1988. The organisation has its headquarters in Madrid, with further branch-offices in Barcelona, Amsterdam and Tokyo. The company’s main shareholders are funds managed by Bridgepoint Capital and The Canadian Pension Plan Investment Board.

Dorna has been the exclusive commercial and television rights holder for the FIM Road Racing World Championship Grand Prix (MotoGP™) since 1992. With 63 years of history, MotoGP is the pinnacle of motorcycle racing and is Dorna’s main focus. Further to this, a recent acquisition saw Dorna expand with the inclusion of the FIM World Superbikes

(SBK) Championship, bringing the two class-leading motorcycle world racing series under one roof. These sit alongside Dorna’s additional involvement in further motorcycling events, such as the Spanish National Championship (CEV) and the Red Bull MotoGP Rookies Cup, which seeks to promote the development of the next generation of riding talent.

Dorna has an all-encompassing Grand Prix event management philosophy, with direct involvement in all areas of the MotoGP™ and SBK World Championships:

MotoGP™ With an unrivalled 63-year history of elite competition, MotoGP™ is the world’s premier motorcycling championship, comprising an eight-month, eighteen-round season, in fourteen different countries, spanning four continents.

Dating back to 1949, it is the oldest motorsport World Championship in existence.

Each Grand Prix brings together the most talented riders from across the world to

participate in races across three distinct categories - MotoGP™, Moto2™ and Moto3™.

The racing is a superb spectacle, featuring technologically advanced, high-speed machinery from the world’s leading motorcycle manufacturers. The MotoGP™ racing prototypes produce over 230hp, are capable of 0-100kph (62mph) in three seconds, reach top speeds of over 340kph (211mph) and achieve lean angles as low as 45 degrees, ridden by the most daring and talented riders on the planet.

For the past three seasons all MotoGP™ races have been produced and distributed in HD format, further highlighting the colour, excitement and sheer pace of Grand Prix motorcycle racing. The introduction of the Gyroscopic OnBoard Camera, with a fixed horizon line that demonstrates a rider’s lean angle in real time, has also added significantly to the breadth of coverage offered, and these technologies have continued to develop and contribute to MotoGP™’s excellent coverage throughout 2012. Add to this the use of high speed cameras that capture up to 2000 frames per

second, and there is not one bit of detail that goes unnoticed in some of the most stunning footage ever seen in MotoGP™.

As the leading two-wheeled motorsports championship in the world, Dorna keeps abreast of all emerging video technologies, and how they may be used to enhance the service that they provide to their broadcast partners. 3D technology is now set to revolutionise sports broadcasting, with MotoGP™ taking part in this revolution, with a view to the future.

Dorna’s highly experienced and talented television production unit orchestrates more than 22 trackside cameras and over 80 on-board cameras during live broadcasts, capturing every angle of the riders and their bikes. The MotoGP VIP Village™ offers an exclusive entertainment programme which gives a unique touch to every package, superb catering to make sure that everything is taken care of throughout the day, and of course enviable views of the action to bring together the perfect balance of excitement, style and exclusivity.

Two different packages are available:

GoldGrants access on Sunday only, for the race day.

Gold and SilverGrants access on Sunday with the Gold Pass, and on Saturday with the Silver Pass.

Companies can vary the type of event they host or the guests they invite to the MotoGP VIP Village™ from Saturday to Sunday when purchasing Gold and Silver Packages.

Individual VIP guests visiting the MotoGP Lounge can also enjoy the Grand Prix weekend by purchasing Gold and Silver Packages.

Stylish Venues

MotoGP VIP Village™ marquees and suites are equipped with fitted carpet, stylish furnishings and air-conditioning.According to the location and the layout of the circuit the following set up options are used:

1. Infield: This stunning marquee is always located in the ‘infield’, next to one of the most exciting corners on the circuit, with a furnished terrace. Depending on the Grand Prix, an exclusive grandstand is provided to guarantee the best views.

2. Terrace: Located on the Pit Lane Roof, this stylish marquee offers the best view of the Start/Finish Line and Pit Lane.

3. Pit Building Suites: This collection of closed suites is located directly above the Pit Building and therefore has a privileged view of the Start/Finish Line, the Pit Lane and occasionally the MotoGP™ Paddock.

The interior of each marquee or suite can be tailored to meet your specific corporate needs, when booking a Corporate Area.

To create the setting and atmosphere you require, fittings such as carpets, tablecloths

and floral arrangements can be customised at no extra cost.

We have an extensive list of additional supplementary services which can be implemented to modify your corporate area according your specific requirements.

Whether based on the Pit Lane Roof Terrace, in the Suites or in the Infield all locations for the MotoGP VIP Village™ guarantee unbeatable views.

The MotoGP VIP Village™ facilities located on the roof of the Pit Lane Buildings (Terraces or Suites) offer a first-class panoramic view over the Start/Finish Line on one side and an excellent view of the Paddock on the other.

The Infield MotoGP VIP Village™ is always located close to the Paddock and next to one of the most exciting corners on the circuit, guaranteeing the best possible view – right at the heart of the MotoGP™ action. At certain circuits a private grandstand is provided to ensure a perfect view of the action.

MotoGP VIP Village™ guests are given the opportunity to take a 30 minute walk through the Paddock to see what is going on behind the scenes. Entering the Paddock you will experience what the life of the riders, teams and sponsors entails at the circuit.

All guests interested in the Paddock Tour should register at the designated desk upon arrival, for one of this exclusive walks.

Pit Lane Walk

Provided exclusively for our guests, this service offers an opportunity to take a closer look at the Pit Lane action and enter an area otherwise reserved for official MotoGP™ personnel only. This is the unique moment specially reserved for all the guests from the MotoGP VIP Village™, which takes place on Saturday and Sunday in between racing activity.
