SHADESIndividual shades are outfitted with our rechargeable battery-powered motors, contained within the headrail. (Pleated Shades are available with a battery pack or a plug-in DC power supply.) Plug your shades in periodically to charge them, just like your cell phone. The wand control operates a single shade, the remote control operates a single shade or multiple shades in the same room.

REMOTEThe Motivia® Remote control is a small wireless control that operates your motorized shade. It has an easy-to-use interface that can control individual or multiple shades in a single room. It’s available in black or white.

WANDThe Motivia® Wand is a narrow wand with a pendant that attaches to your shade. The pendant allows you to control the height of your shade with easy-to-use buttons for up/down operation. Available on most shades.

POWER SOURCEWith the exception of Pleated Shades, the Motivia® motor runs via a rechargeable battery, much like your cell phone. The charging cord is 13 feet long, and you’ll need a wall outlet close enough to the windows to plug in the charger.

Battery-powered Pleated Shades have a round, slim external pack. The pack can be mounted, using the included clips, to the window casing, the wall or behind the headrail (if space permits). For very tall windows, consider mounting the battery pack on the side of your window for easier access. There is a DC* (plug-in) power option available.
