WHY MELTRON MEXLS?The modular Meltron EX Lighting System provides ultimate safety to people working

in the most demanding industrial environments, such as oil and gas refineries, mining

industries, and other industries requiring the best in safety.

The Modular Meltron EX Lighting System is ATEX/IECEx-certified, and tested to

withstand extreme weather conditions, mechanical vibrations, impacts, and UV-radiation.

Meltron MEXLS is designed to withstand high ambient temperatures, voltage surges,

and electromagnetic disturbances. Suitable for outdoor use.

The Modular Meltron EX Lighting

System is a state of the art industrial

lighting system. It is specifically

designed for use in the most dangerous

and the most demanding environments

with high risk of explosion, due to

various types of gases, and dust.

The extremely strong and durable tube

enclosure is sealed to withstand water

pressure, fluids and dust up to IP66, and

has been tested against hard impacts.

The MEXLS driver, with encapsulated

(type ‘mb’) electronics offers high-

level protection against 299 out of 301

explosive gases. It is made to operate in

hot ambient temperatures that would

quickly cause regular components to fail.

All the materials and components of the

MEXLS driver were selected for their

superior perfomance and reliability.

Meltron MEXLS is certified according

to both ATEX and IECEx, and has been

granted a manufacturers CE-mark.
