• Launched at the CMI workshop“Youth Innovating withWastewater for a SustainableMediterranean” in Marseille,France (2017).
• Gathers over 200 members ofyoung water researchers,entrepreneurs and activistsworking on water challenges inthe Mediterranean.

A Mediterranean region in which youth arerecognized and are active stakeholders at all levels ofwater resources management.
• Our Mission
To engage young Mediterranean water professionalsto create and share knowledge, build capacities andultimately amplify youth’s voices on the regional andglobal water agendas
What are the objectives MedYWat?
To connect and engage Mediterranean youth fromdifferent disciplines working on water.
To become a knowledge-based platform which createsand exchanges best practices and opportunities forMediterranean youth.
To create cross-linkages between MedYWat and keydecision makers in the Region

MedYWat works on seven different topics related to water from thetechnological and educational points of view:
• Water education• Water governance• Water treatment and reuse• Water management and planning• Sustainable blue growth• Water and migration• Water and climate change
