  • Additional thoughts: 1. Take a diagnostic exam before you begin to study- could use AAMC “Sample Test. Do this over Spring Break

    2. In the May-June period, take “old” and “new” practice exams

    3. Do not wait until you have “mastered” content before taking exams

    4. Use the exams as a learning tool- use the day after an exam to analyze the results and identify areas of weakness, patterns and strategies 5. At least once a week in the May-June period, take “realistic” full-length practice exams. Use online materials to create 95 min sections and take the actual 10 or 30 min breaks. This means NO water, food, phone during the test intervals. 6. If scheduled for mid-June date, resist the urge to postpone the exam!
