Subcommittee Proposal• Need
– MC Green Team members need to their work to be considered college service.
– The college needs an officially sanctioned sustainability committee. • Proposal
– President’s Office recommended the MC Green Team serve as a subcommittee to OPS.
– Existing reporting channels should stay the same.– The relationship can be reconsidered at any time.
• Argument– OPS has uniquely diverse areas of concern and membership. The
same is true of the MC Green Team. The same is not true to the same degree with the other committees in the faculty council structure.
