Almost like home

The Mayfair Hotel in Copenhagen is part of the Clarion Collection Group which consists of small, individual hotels, each with their separate history and distinctive mark. Our ambition is to separate ourselves from the large, concept-driven hotels, and we wish to accommodate travellers who seek a smaller and more personal hotel. Our wish is to provide all of our guests

with a good and individual service that makes them feel welcome and recognized as soon as they step in the door. Our guests should feel at home and as if among friends.

All-inclusiveThe entire concept of the Clarion Collection hotels is based on the ambition to make everything as easy and comfortable as possible for our guests. This is why we offer an all-inclusive solution where our guests can use all of the hotel services without additional costs. For instance, this means that you can enjoy our morning and evening buffet which is served in relaxed surroundings, making you – whether you travel as a couple or alone – feel at ease.

Business and pleasureThe Mayfair Hotel addresses itself to everyone who likes the personal, ”all-inclusive” concept, whether you are in Copenhagen on business or vacation. We have a wide scope, but we are especially well-suited for business travellers, who want a high level of quality and service.

Environment and ecologyAt Mayfair, we are very conscious of the environment. We are actively working with an environment programme called Penguin which is an internal certification, and also,

we have an ISO 14001 certification. Finally, we strive to serve ecological food in the hotel restaurant to the extent possible.

Unique and central locationAt the Mayfair Hotel, you live in the heart of Copenhagen, only a two-minute-walk from the Central Station (Hovedbanegården) and a five-minute-walk from Tivoli. Vesterbro is without comparison the most vibrant neighbourhood in Copenhagen, and restau-rants and cafes are shooting up in the area at an unprecedented speed. The hotel is located in a side street to Istedgade which is known as the street that never sleeps. At first glance, the rough setting can seem overwhelming, but all of the different types of people from all walks of life provide a unique atmosphere which in itself is worth experiencing.

Beautiful surroundingsThe hotel is located in an old building from the twentieth century and was renovated in its entirety in 2008. The furnishing is Scandinavian, but has a look of British living room. We have especially been inspired by the Soho hotels in London which are small hotels furnished as homes. All rooms are individually designed, with bright colours on carpets and wallpaper. Also, we have original artwork in the common areas from both Danish, Italian and Asian artists.

Kind regards,Thomas Skov, Hotel Manager

VESTErBrO GuIDE TO

The Mayfair Hotel is centrally located at Vesterbro which during the last couple of years has grown into the most hip and colourful neighbourhood in Copenhagen. The main artery is Istedgade, almost a sight in itself. The first part of the street is filled with strip clubs and sex shops, but as soon as you have passed the side street Gasværksvej, they are replaced by cool clothing shops, little, quirky design shops, cosy cafes and lots of coffee shops and wine bars.It is also at Vesterbro that you find Kødbyen, the Copen-hagen equivalent to the Meat Packing District in new York, housing galleries, restaurants and alternative club concepts.
