Contemporary philosophy recogni*es man as a task, a continuousprocess towards self- reali*ation. +t further emphasi*es the fact that

man is a being in the world and as such, his e$istence here and nowmust be given equal importance as his spiritual faculty.

+n consonance with this idea, the Christian philosophy stresses that)eing and aving are complementary prerequisites for authentic living.Man needs to have in order to be truly human. &t the same time, it iscareful not to confuse that e$istence is not meant ust to have.

History and Milestones 

Brief History  istorically, SMC started small with only / students and only a two-0oor building to begin with. Most of the other facilities were makeshiftfacilities such as a collapsible stage, which saw many years of use. hrough the years, the population rose. Correspondingly, the smallschool e$panded into what is now a school campus with two bigbuildings, one named after its founder Mr. &rsenio '. 1amos" the otherafter the late co-founder Mrs. 'lisea S. 1amos.
