Setting: Place- Medieval Europe Time- 1300s
Medieval TimesThe Black Death/Bubonic Plague• Early 1300s deadly outbreak in China• Carried by small rodents to flies to
humans• Spread to Asia and Europe• Symptoms = fever, painful swelling of the lymph
glands, and spots on the skin that are red at first and then turn black
• Die within 3 days• Almost a third of the population were wiped out
(1.5 of 4 million)
