Conclusion

• In this lesson the students have learned how various animals underwater meet their energy needs and what level they are placed on the food chain.

• The students have also had the chance to display their knowledge of classification, by classifying groups of animals as either carnivore, omnivore or herbivore.

• In the future students can use the physical characteristics of a specific underwater animal or species to figure out their level on the food chain and diet facts, like they did in this activity.
