Recently We have had Gang related Shootings in Southwest Area. In Jefferson Park on March 14,2016 at 10:45 PM at 9Th Ave and Jefferson Bl we had a Gang shooting in front of Sammy’s Liquor. This was a drive by shooting with two involved rival gangs shooting at each other. This resulted with one victim being hit by the gunfire. Unfortunately this victim has passed away. Please be aware if you see any type of Gang Activity in the community please call the Police and make notification. Also we had 5 Robberies and 5 Burglaries. Please be aware of your surroundings while walking in areas. Residential Burglaries please if you notice strange activity around any homes in the area contact 911. Stay Safe
