The ProblemThe Problem

nature of the soil is a mix of clay, silt and gravel4 hectares & 50,000 m3 contaminated soilspills & some waste being buried on site: 1930-1988 50% of soil is 10 times & other 50% 1,000 times800m3 of marine sediments exceed up to 50 times 5 parts per million of DDT and 3 parts per million of

woodchips (12 weeks) DDX was reduced from 682 ppm to 54 ppm dieldrin from 122 ppm to 12 ppm3. Best result: (147 days) DDX: from 1060 ppm to 34.6 Dieldrin & Aldrin: from 59 ppm to 11.5 ppm “Commercial” slandered achieved BUT
