This was not a very easy decision to make. In fact, just over a week ago I was still making plans for this year. My concern was for the safety of the children, families and workers from McCoy, as well as for the families that we reach out to with this ministry. I also had to consider that we really do not know when large groups will be able to meet again and at this late date it will be hard to finish getting everything ready for that week. I encourage each of you to find ways to be a blessing to others during this time. I am sure that a lot of our missionaries could use some mail, including the missionary kids. Some of our senior saints would probably love some child’s art work to hang on their refrigerator. Now that we know what it is like to not be able to meet together, we can better pray for the thousands of Christians across the globe whom never get to meet together because of government restrictions. I know that God is still in control. He is not surprised by anything that is happening, and we can rest assured that God is working all of this for our good. Praying for you all, Bettie Rushlow—Vacation Bible School Director

Missionary of the Month: Frank & Tamara Roe: Crossworld Canada We are doing very well right now and are experiencing much the same type of situation that all of you are. We are free to go to the grocery store and restaurants but the mall and many other stores are either closed or online with pick up only. Churches are closed but most are holding services online. For Easter we met some Christian friends who live about four blocks away and stood at a street corner for our own little communion service. We stood six feet apart with Jesus in the center! Ministry wise we have had all of our trips and meetings cancelled through the end of June. We had two trips overseas in that time (Africa and Asia) cancel along with five or six church and school meetings here in Canada. Aside from no meetings this is usually my time to start working towards planning and strategy for next year. I'm also using the time for some personal study

which is helpful as well. I am teaching Acts on May 5-14 at Word of Life Bible Institute here in Ontario but this will be completely online. This will be a real challenge since it is the first time to teach a new 'condensed' version of the class that is only 15 hours long. Perhaps an even greater challenge is that this is the first time I am teaching online remotely. Definitely something to pray about. Tammy continues to work with the children's ministry but now from home also. It's funny that she is upstairs and I'm in the basement in our "offices". We say good bye and see you at lunch and good off to work! This is a very busy time for her as they are applying now to get the Bible clubs back into the schools. It has to be done each year and with over 50 clubs it takes a great deal of time. We pray for you as well during this time. People seem to be very open to talking about what God may be doing at this time so hopefully that is happening with you there. Thank you so much for your faithful prayers and part in our ministry. It would be great to see you when everything settles down. Please Pray for: * Teaching Acts online * Tammy and the Bible clubs * Plans and strategy for July and beyond
