The project is set in the Dutch Wadden Sea region of the Ijsselmeer. The project inscribes itself in an imaginable future where the Dutch begin to embrace and not fight the water – The project investigates the city of New Amsterdam, anno 2200, when the old city is permanently flooded and a new city floats the waters above.
