building the deck plug and mould
building the GTS43-01
7th of April 2011
The Sydney GTS43 hull No 1 has been laminated and is now complete.
The internal structure is being fitted to the hull as are the interior furniture moulds, we aim to be releasing the hull from the mould in approx 2 weeks. The deck has had the first laminates applied and the foam core is currently being fitted, we aim to have the deck completed by the end of next week ready for release from the mould. All the internal furniture modules have been constructed and will be fitted to the hull in the next week or so, the interior timber joinery has also commenced. The Hall spar Carbon mast is well underway, we are fine tuning some equipment and this will be ready to ship to Australia by the start of May. As you are aware Hull No 2 was contracted this week, we aim to start this hull in approx 3 weeks time, for a launch date in September. We will keep you updated as the build progresses.
Kind regards,
Team Sydney Yachts
