GOOD FRIDAY LITURGY The Knights of Columbus would like to encourage attendance
at the Good Friday Liturgy at 3:00 PM on April 19th. It is the most solemn day in the church year as the day that our Lord died to take away our sins. Although it is not a Holy Day of Obligation, it is an outstanding opportunity to grow closer to Christ and do homage to his sacrifice in the veneration of the Cross. Additionally, the Stations of the Cross that evening at 7:00 PM in Spanish is a great chance to follow in Jesus’ footsteps through the Passion.

SEMINARIANS’ EDUCATION We ask for your generous response to the second

Parishioner Eugenia Rivera was the winner of $4900, and Alma Torres of St. Michael Parish was the winner of a week at Marriott’s Grande Vista Resort in Orlando. Congratulations! Many thanks to everyone who supported the raffle, providing additional funding for our parish programs as well as a donation to the Lady of the Annunciation Society in East Jerusalem for women and children.
From the Pastor: Sunday Masses of Obligation Schedule As was announced in last week’s bulletin, we are consolidating Masses
and preparing a new Sunday Obligation Mass schedule. Your input by email or letter is important to us. All correspondence must be received by this Wednesday, April 17th. Prayers needed at Abortion Facility There’s no Pro-Life Mass on April 27, but parishioners will
still gather to pray at the abortion facility from 10:00-11:00 AM as we always do on the 4th Saturday. The facility is located at 3220 Latrobe Drive, Charlotte, NC 28211. You can bring a chair if needed, a sign, and your rosary. Park on the street and walk to the facility. We stand directly in front of the facility on the sidewalk.
SCHEDULE CHANGE
Morning Adoration is cancelled on Palm Sunday, Easter Sunday, and Divine Mercy Sunday. However, there will be Adoration at the Divine Mercy Sunday Devotions at 3:00 PM on April 28.
