The time difference between Eastern Standard Time and Hong Kong is 13 hours halfway around the world. The flight time is over 15 hours if flown straight, but even longer for us with a stopover in Vancouver, British Columbia. Here is our adventure step by step so you can follow along and get some insight for your own travels, or just have a laugh at some of our misadventures. Travel schedules will undoubtedly come with a few hitches, so obtaining relaxed state of the Buddha will help get through some unforeseen delays and disruptions along the way. We will be sure to visit our share of temples and Buddha statues when we arrive in Southeast Asia. Out cruise will take us from Hong Kong to several ports in Vietnam, Cambodia, Thailand and then arrive in Singapore.
