Everything begins with a call to the Cus-tomer Service team. This is where orders are placed whenever industrial filters are needed, anywhere in the world. The team in Weinheim serves more than 3,000 customers in Germany alone and is also happy to answer specific questions about individual filter solutions. “Given the sev-eral thousand product variants listed at

Freudenberg Filtration Technologies, this can be quite a challenging task”, explained Andreas Fischer, Head of Customer Ser-vice. According to Fischer, binding offers are created within two days, even for un-usual product inquiries.

SAP helps to maintain an overview

All orders are recorded in the SAP system, which crosslinks Customer Service with the warehouse and production plan-ning. It also provides a daily overview of which raw materials need to be re-pur-chased, how many finished filters are still in stock and the status of open orders: fundamentally important data. Thanks to this overview, Bernhard Dörsam, Head of Production Planning and Control In-dustrial Filters, is able to respond quickly when inventories need to be reconciled with available production capacity to ful-fil short-notice orders. To meet customer demands quickly, all process steps are aligned: global material procurement, production, warehousing and delivery.

With the further development of the Viledon® MVPGT series, Freudenberg Filtration Technologies proves once again that you can make a good filter system even better.

Viledon® MVPGT cassette filters were de-veloped for intake air filtration for gas tur-bines and turbo-compressors. Among the numerous advantages of the series – in-cluding the low pressure differential val-ues, enormous dust holding capacity and high pressure surge capacity – we have added yet another strength. The unique clip-on system patented by Freudenberg Filtration Technologies is now installed as standard in the new generation of filters. This system enables the user to clip on additional filters, such as the hydroMAXX that will be available from this autumn.

Shipping closes the circle

Forklifts, pallet trucks and modern nar-row-aisle forklifts buzz busily through the aisles, compile deliveries and label them with the barcode that contains all the im-portant order information. Siegfried Sonn heads the shipping department, where all goods from production and storage converge. His top priority? “A good or-ganisation. That is the only thing that

gives us the necessary flexibility to fulfil large orders at short notice.” The products of Freudenberg Filtration Technologies are sent out across the world in stable and practical packaging. Meanwhile, the phone rings once again in the Customer Service department. This time, it could be your call that sets this “choreography of delivery reliability” in motion.

Thanks to this space-saving 2-in-1 con-cept, the Viledon® MVPGT cassette filter can now be optimally used in the tight-est spaces. Alongside this new develop-ment, the filter has the usual safety fea-tures such as the clean-air-side rupture
