Tapanappa was formed in 2002, an exciting partnership between pioneers of the Piccadilly Valley, the Croser family, the Cazes family of Chateau Lynch Bages, Bordeaux and the famed families of Bollinger, Champagne.

The defining mission of the partnership is to produce Australian fine wines of distinction by continuing Brian’s career-long mission of selecting distinguished sites, matching the climate, soil and geology of the site to the right varieties, and fastidiously managing the vineyard to maximise quality.

Winemaker Brian Croser has a long-lived respect for the land, one of his main principles being “to use the most expressive and unique terroirs of Australia”, a principle which led him to pioneer two great South Australian wine regions, become a highly respected figure in the wine world and craft some seriously good site-specific wines.

Brian and Ann Croser are regular “adornments to our lives” here at Crafers and we feel very special to be able to represent these local legends and to offer you these very special wines.

Campo Eliseo Toro Tempranillo, 2004“Wines that exist for a reason”. Winter is one of these reasons.Tinto de Toro, aka Tempranillo, made in old world Spain, but in a style that is a tip of the cap to the new world. More Barossa-like in its fullness, softness and dark fruited ripeness. For those who like bigger wines but would like to try something new.

2019 Pete’s Pure Prosecco Sunraysia, NSW

Pete’s Pure is meant to be consumed fresh and young – drinkability and simplicity. But the real star here is sunshine; hailing from Euston in New South Wales, from an area known for volume, the clear skies and red earth produce clean, bright flavours. This abundance of sun makes growing grapes stress-free. Old FashionedThe Old Fashioned was collectively created around 1900 by a bourbon distiller and a bartender at the Pendennis Club in Louisville. Few have been able to find a better cocktail that sweetens, chills and smoothens the flavour of whiskey. A classic still enjoyed today.

Adelaide Hills NegroniWho doesn’t love a Negroni? The perfect balance between gin, vermouth and amaro. We believe in celebrating our local community and the producers around us. This drink highlights the delicious spirits that are being produced by our friends at Adelaide Hills Distillery.

Crafers 78° Gin MartiniWho doesn’t like a properly stirred (yes, stirred) martini? Our Gin Martini is crafted using the award winning 78° Small Batch Gin from just down the freeway. Now was it 46 or 48 stirs that make a great martini?

Moscow MuleCreated in Los Angeles around 1941, this classic was born when two parts of Vodka, ginger ale and a splash of lime was mixed. The cocktail was originally served in copper mugs with a kicking mule on the side. Hence the Moscow Mule.... we’re still not sure where the Moscow part comes in, but just go with it.

Side- CarThe Side Car is a classic Cognac cocktail famous from the era of the speakeasy bar and lounges. The cocktail features Cognac, orange and cinnamon. A perfect combination to sit in front of the fire on a rainy day.
