There lived a Sea King

in a coral palace that

was very deep at the

bottom of a sea. 

He has six mermaid

daughters. Five of s

them are very happy

but the youngest of the

princess is unhappy.

And, she does not

smile even once.

She loves the world above the sea.

She swims to the surface of the sea and stars at the brilliant blue sky,

the sun and the green trees of the distant land.

She feels sad when the time to get back home come.

She feels that without the wonders of the earth and sky,

she could never be happy.

She is sad despite her father She is sad despite her father tries to amuse her.tries to amuse her.

Beautiful fish, waving plant fronds, shells of various sizes and shapes and many other wondrous things of the sea, fails to satisfy her.

Not even the amusing stories tell by her father or the funny tricks of her sisters could make her happy.

In the middle of a night, she leaves her home and comes to the surface, secretly.

There is a big storm. The mermaid save a young man.

The little mermaid The little mermaid rescues him.rescues him.

She brings him to the shore against the rock.

She fells in love with this young man, she has ever seen.

She leaves the surface and reaches the palace at the bottom of the ocean.

When the young man sees the beautiful girl with lovely hair.

He is very grateful to her, thinking that she has rescued him.

This beautiful girl is a princess and she takes him to her palace where the young man changes his clothes.

The little Mermaid asks the Magic Witch of the Seashore to grant her a wish.

That she wants to be free of her fish tail so she can walk and dance on the land.

Listening carefully and without saying anything,

the witch stirrers her magic potions in a large black cauldron.

The witch asks her to obey a condition.

That the little Mermaid will be able to walk and dance,

but not talk and sing. The Mermaid agrees and is transformed into a beautiful girl,

wears splendid clothes.

The little Mermaid reaches the royal palace

Feeling that the young man would recognize her as the rescuer. 

A party is being held in the palace. Not knowing anything about the girl,

the palace guards does not allow her inside. 

The little mermaid enjoys The little mermaid enjoys dancingdancing

Listening to the music coming from the palace,

the Mermaid starts dancing merrily.  

Seeing her beautiful dance, the guard allows her inside the palace.

Bright lamps, laughs, music surrounds the garden.

When she finds the prince sitting on the throne in his kingdom.

Beside him, sits a beautiful princess with lovely hair.

But…

An anouncement comes to An anouncement comes to the kingdomthe kingdom

Thinking that girl who sits beside him rescued him; he declares that he would be marrying her.

That announcement leaves the princess in tears. But…

Happy endingHappy ending

The mermaid sings a song

And, he sees that she saves him.

Ten, they both drink a magic poison. So, they could live in the water or in the land. They live happily ever after.
