ORdeR Payment

Customers are required to pay for their orders

prior to dispatch of goods. We accept Visa, MasterCard,

American Express, BPAy, Bank Deposit, Cash

(pick-ups only), Telegraphic Transfer, Letter of Credit,

or Documentary Credit (bank draft).

CRedit aCCOunts

30-day credit accounts are available on request for

customers holding a current Australian Business

Registration Certificate and ABN, who have a prior

ordering history of A$1000 (minimum) per month. Please

contact our Accounts Department for an application

form. Credit Account approval is at the discretion of

the Company. Credit terms may be withdrawn without

notice at the discretion of the Company.

CheCk yOuR ORdeR

Upon receipt of your goods, please check the contents

of your delivery against the enclosed invoice. In the event

an item is on back order, this will be stated on your

invoice and you will not be charged* until the item is

shipped. (*except in the case of prepaid online orders.)

RetuRns/exChange/Refunds

If you detect any discrepancy with goods supplied, it is a

condition of return/exchange/refund that you report this

discrepancy to our Customer Service Department on 02

9565 2828 or [email protected] within 5 working days

of receipt of your order (postal time will be taken into

account). Goods approved for return/exchange/refund

should be packed carefully to avoid damage in transit

and be accompanied by a copy of the invoice or invoice

no. and a written statement detailing reason of return.

If you are manufacturing or intending to manufacture

and market cosmetic-type products in Australia we

recommend that you familiarise yourself with Australian

Government regulations that are applicable in this country.

Following is a summary of information published on the

internet. For further professional assistance we recommend

contacting a Regulatory Consultant in your area.

(1) PeRmissible ingRedients. There are mandatory

requirements for permissible ingredients in products

marketed as ‘cosmetics’. National Industrial Chemicals

Notification and Assessment Scheme (NICNAS) provide

information on all relevant regulations. Visit www.

nicnas.gov.au to download the NICNAS COSMETICS

GUIDELINES 2007. (Latest version 17 September 2007,

Modified 2 December 2008*).

(2) labelling RequiRements. There are mandatory

labelling requirements for the labelling of cosmetic

products manufactured in, or imported into, Australia.

All suppliers – including manufacturers, importers,

distributors and retailers – must comply with the

mandatory information standard, which is enforced

by the ACCC. Visit www.accc.gov.au to download the

mandatory information standard for COSMETICS &

TOILETRIES INGREDIENT LABELLING.

(3) COsmetiC OR theRaPeutiC. There are mandatory

regulations relating to marketing products as either

“cosmetic” or “therapeutic”. The Therapeutic Goods

Administration (TGA) regulates how these differences

COSMETIC CLAIMS GUIDELINES (Latest version 9 May

1997*).

incorporate the use of Certified Organic ingredients

and you wish to make any label or marketing claims

and/or use the ‘Bud’ logo, additional compliance to

the Australia Organic Standard (AOS) is also a
