* * * * * Here we are again, ready for a new adventure along with the new essay, and I know many are just curious to see where the Magic Carpet and the built-in Time Machine will channelize the story this time. In fact, we do not go very far from the previous story, neither geographically nor by timeframe, and therefore, this time we prepare ourselves for exciting new adventures in India, in just about the very same time frame as last time. We have been in India many times, that is my favorite topic actually. India is magic and magnificent, irrelative whether we are researching Vedic Times or post-Vedic India. As well, irrelative from the fact whether it is north, west, east, or south India, or perhaps hot summer season or the season of monsoon rains. This absolutely does not matter, India is mesmerizing so that I always enjoy very much in adding one more item on the side of decoded ancient stories and legends in order that we have Vedic India back in track. In the previous essay of mine, many would know, in the one dealing with China, Sage Confucius, and with huge spiritual heritage he left behind in the form of the teaching founded on the transcendence-based meditation, it was proved that the gap on the History Timeline could be very precious in finding some incarnations of Lord Vishnu. Just by keeping this in my mind, was trying to solve another, but a very similar historical puzzle. In fact, to be honest, just in this last phase of the research, two gaps occurred in the History Timeline. When we are watching on the History Timeline, just as the kali Yuga began around 700 B.C.E., all from Siddhartha Gautama Buddha until the Jesus the Christ, then indeed, we notice two gaps. One gap we already have solved along with finding the Sage Confucius. However, there is yet another gap in this story, and it is being placed right after the Hannibal Barca. Please take a look at the following illustration …

One can immediately notice there is a gap of about 85 years between the departure of Hannibal Barca and the appearance of Julius Caesar. This gap is definitely too long that we would consider it this way, just as an empty space, and therefore, it is easy to conclude something is missing there. Most probably, one very important Vishnu incarnation is missing, and consequently, one important historical figure is missing as well. Who possibly that can be? Actually, just to avoid the drama, I have one candidate for this place. Indeed, one candidate came up, for whom I was searching for so long time. Before, just in this last phase, there were two gaps actually, just as I have mentioned. The mentioned character, whose name I still have not revealed yet, could have fitted himself into both gaps. The enigma about him had been so big, that I was actually forced to solve both problems,

just to be sure not to miss something, and not to make some additional mistake. This is exactly how it did happen. Both gaps were solved in one stroke. As I cannot hide the name for a long time, just to say, this will be the story about a great figure of India, about the legendary King Ashoka. Indeed, they entitled him exactly by this name … KING ASHOKA THE GREAT. He was a great king who unified India, however, his name and the historical importance was somehow neglected. It was entirely neglected actually, and all until the 18th century, the world even did not know about his existence. It is true, memory in India did not fade out completely, but it was somehow suppressed. There was a question raised even in India itself if he is the Vishnu incarnation. This essay, thanks to God, will show this is exactly the case. King Ashoka is Vishnu incarnation.

Asoka quickly grew into an excellent warrior general and an astute statesman. His command on the Mauryan army started growing day by day and because of this, his elder brothers became suspicious of him being favored by Bindusara as the next emperor. The eldest son of Bindusara, Prince Susima, convinced him to send Asoka to Takshashila province (in Sindh) to control an uprising caused by the formation of different militias. However, the moment Ashoka reached the province, the militias welcomed him with open arms and the uprising came to an end without any fight. This particular success of Asoka made his elder brothers, especially Susima, more insecure.

Just to make the story shorter, the natal chart of King Ashoka was found along with solving the problem of Confucius. When you are doing a game puzzle, well, we all know that fact, when you remain on two last strokes before ending, things become very simple. Even though uncertainties, certain vacuum, and controversies in the chronology of the official history could have allowed them to be exchanged, it happened that the solution for the Sage Confucius came first, and then the last stroke was easy. Just one last click and that was all. I mean, it was easy to place Ashoka chronologically in this last remaining gap just after the Hannibal Barca and before the Julius Caesar. However, the natal chart itself was not so easy to be found. Well, again, we are searching first for the proper Jupiter-Saturn conjunction, but just to remind, the seventh aspect of Jupiter and Saturn should be considered as well. If we now consider that it should be at least ten years gap after the Hannibal, and ten years of the obligatory gap before the appearance of the Julius Caesar, then we could possibly assume that King Ashoka lived about 65 years. Interestingly, the official history says he lived for about 72 years, but this can also be mistaken. Therefore, roughly, we can assume he lived for about 65 years. Thus, it is plausible to search around 175 B.C.E. for the birth of the legendary King Ashoka of India.

Indeed, the natal chart itself confirmed the basic presumptions. King Ashoka was born on April 1, 175 B.C.E., at 11.42 AM, according to the Local Meantime for Pataliputra-Patna, in Bihar, India, what is supposedly the birthplace according to the all-official sources. Here is the natal chart …

In this natal chart, we immediately notice several key points that framed and determined the life of Ashoka. I would mention … the Srapit Yoga … first, formed by Rahu-Saturn conjunction in the twelfth house of the horoscope. This is a very inauspicious yoga, the very evil combination, and in the twelfth particularly, it will affect the marriage life. This is actually a curse, what is quite a common theme in the Jyotish, however, this is a very problematic topic and very disputable after all. Such discussions are definitely not fitting into this essay so we rather go around. As we know, one wife of Ashoka, named Devi, left him as soon she saw the horrifying first scenes of Kalinga battle in Odisha, also known as Orrisa, at the far east of India. Initially, she was determined and very persistent in her desire to join Ashoka during this battle. However, Devi was a Buddhist by her religious background, and this is strongly connected with non-violence. She was horrified indeed, and she left Ashoka. As

it seems, exactly this event, the terrible slaughter of Kalinga, had influenced King Ashoka so very much that he changed the official religion of India, and he converged to Buddhism and started to promote it. More about this situation later on. This yoga can cause problems with children conceiving, and indeed, with the mentioned wife Devi, he did not have any children. In addition, because of the third aspect on the second house, the house of family, Srapit Yoga brought very heavy fights within the family, which finished with the terrible extinction of the entire family almost. Just to remind, Ashoka had many older half-brothers, some sources would claim even one hundred because his father had many wives and many children with them. Ashoka was not the oldest son, and therefore he was not the first in succession line to be an heir on the throne. However, he was the most capable and the most potent among all brothers, and everybody saw he is predestined to be a royal successor. That fact provoked a lot of envy and jealousy among other brothers, and especially the oldest one Susima became very suspicious and inimical so, in the end, Ashoka was supposed to eliminate them all. They became his enemies, and exactly this yoga, by the seventh aspect of Rahu and Saturn on the sixth house helped a lot in defeating them all. Another yoga to be mentioned is … Guru Chandal Yoga. It is formed by Jupiter-Guru and Ketu in the sixth house. This is a very suitable place for this yoga to be because it will help in overcoming rivals and opponents as well. This yoga brings the highest spirituality; however, it can bring the change in faith. This is exactly what happened with Ashoka. Guru-Jupiter in the sixth, this is the mulatrikona place for this graha, and it will give results similar to exaltation. Mulatrikona is just second in dignity after exaltation when we are considering Avastha. As Jupiter is the lord of the ninth house, the highest spiritual knowledge will be applied, and the owner will enjoy the support and blessings of the highest spiritual leaders and gurus. Here we need to mention the confirmation of this principle, because, in order to become the king, there were exactly Brahmins and priests at the court of his father who played the decisive role. They noticed that Prince Susima is prone to injustice, and they discovered early all gifts of Ashoka so they decided he should be a king, even though he is not the oldest son. Altogether, they supported him heavily. However, as it was already mentioned, he was supposed to eliminate his brothers. Yet another one yoga noticed is … the Kalsarpa Yoga. It is being formed by all grahas taking their place between Rahu and Ketu, on one side only. This is also one yoga promoting ill fate, however, in this case, will not be very negative for the owner of the horoscope. In fact, it will bring him good luck in overcoming bad situations. All three mentioned yogas, well, we already have seen them in use along with some charts of Vishnu incarnations. Each of them, and especially if all three are applied at the same time, they will contribute to the dridha karma, the fixed karma, the karma which is not possible to be changed or avoided by any manner. Along with Vishnu incarnations, there is a lot of dridha karma. This is to say, Vishnu incarnations are here to deliver the will of God, and therefore there is no much free will in it. It has to happen, and it has to shape the world along with the will of God. As far as I could see, no any incarnation of Vishnu is a touristic void or picnic. The bourdon of achieving certain aims is always there. For the benefits of the World, of course. Thus, by following only these few points, we immediately recognize this is the right and the proper natal chart, the unique horoscope belonging exactly to King Ashoka the Great only. However, in recognizing the patterns of the natal chart, the most important role was played by Dasha System where we see when some grahas will be activated to be stronger than others, just to be appointed as the ruling planet. The thing is that always one planet is the dominant one; it is presiding over all other planets. The duration of the planet rule is different, and by knowing this, just by seeing these planetary periods of certain planets for their ruling, we can recognize some patterns from the life of the person. The very interesting situation we have if we consider when exactly Ashoka became a king. All sources would say that he became a king when he was about 36 years of age. If we take a look at the planetary periods now, we have the situation that Ketu Mahadasha started just at the very end of the 140 B.C.E., or at the beginning of the 139 B.C.E. Interestingly, he was just about 36 at that time. Ketu is placed in the sixth house, being part of the mentioned Guru Chandal Yoga. It is in the Mula Nakshatra, ruled by Ketu itself, and therefore the influence of Ketu will be amplified manifolds. Mula Nakshatra is the root nakshatra, which can be very cruel by the way. They say, for the Mula nakshatra pain is inevitable, suffering is optional. For Ashoka himself, the lucky circumstance is that it sits in the sixth, and therefore, who will be afflicted the most? In fact, Ketu will squeeze the opponents and rivals of Ashoka preferably. His enemies will be battered heavily. The dominance of Ketu Mahadasha goes for seven years. However, Ketu is the third mahadasha in the life of Ashoka by sequence, and this is the reason it will act as the Surya-Sun as well. In fact, it will activate the Surya-

Sun. Nevertheless, where is the Surya? Surya is in the tenth house, and by being exalted there in the Mesha Rasi, it will promote the person to become a king. However, Surya is in the Bharani Nakshatra, what is to say that becoming a king will go through some struggle. As we already have seen from the legends, this is exactly how it happened with Ashoka when he was supposed to become a king. Nevertheless, this is not all. The story has it that King Ashoka was very cruel at the beginning of his rulerships, and that was especially directed toward his enemies. This kind of situation lasted for 8 years, all until the Kalinga battle. It happened that after the Kalinga battle Kinga Ashoka was so deeply moved by the level of destruction produced, and by suffering induced, that he decided such things never to happen again. That was the moment when he turned from cruel king to become merciful king, the king who will apply highest spiritual knowledge to eradicate hatred and ignorance what is the solid foundation for every war and consequently for suffering as well. Thus, the cruelty of King Ashoka began and practically finished with Ketu Mahadasha, or just shortly afterward. Anyhow, the Ketu Mahadasha brought him an option to become a king and helped him in overcoming all his opponents and rivals. This is where all small countless states and feuds of India were put together, except some portions on the south of India. That was the moment where the great empire of India was coined. They say that his Maurya Dynasty was lasting about fifty years after his departure. Then, it was turned into something even bigger so that all the territory of India was united in one huge empire spreading all from Afghanistan to Bengal, and from the Himalayas in the north to the Lanka on the south. They say that the body of King Ashoka, when being cremated, was burning for seven days.

We can return a little bit to the point of his cruelty of Ashoka in some stage. We need to know that Chandra-Moon that represents emotions and feelings is mrita-dead in this natal chart. With other words, Chandra-Moon could have caused a lot of problems in his life. As well, in the Narayana Chalit Kundali, we see that Chandra is having a partial position in the eighth house. They say the eighth house is the house of death for Chandra-Moon. This is the darkest house actually, and Chandra is not happy there. Interestingly, we find out that Chandra is in the eighth house of Navamsa as well, and exactly this chart will take the leading role when Ashoka was about 36 years of age. Therefore, Chandra-Moon is in big problems there, and when all that is combined with already exposed facts about Ketu Mahadasha, everything becomes apparent. Ashoka was very cruel for some time indeed, but everything was directed toward his enemies mainly. Or, he just needed some influx of negative energy, in order to accomplish these heavy wars for unifying India. Just to remind, only negative energy can accomplish such deeds, and he was programmed to have it when it was needed, on this way or another, it does not matter how. I think this is enough of elaboration on the natal chart itself. We turn now to the fact that the symbols of Ashoka became the symbols of modern India. For instance, the national emblem of India is very interesting, four lions facing four cardinal directions. The symbolism of the lion is very well known, and it is all about the braveness and heroism. The national emblem is just exposed below …

Another Very interesting symbol we can easily observe along with the above-exposed representations of the emblem, it is part of it, and this is Ashoka’s Dharma Chakra. We find it on the national emblem of India, but on the flag of India as well. This is the wheel-chakra, which is the symbol of time and of the cycles of yugas. Originally, it has 16 spokes only and they do represent 16 Kalas. I was discussing Kalas previously in my essays. They do represent 16 different levels of Evolution that living beings can be involved in but based on the fact how much of pure consciousness they do reflect. Ashoka’s Dharma Chakra was a little bit modified comparing to the original. It has 24 spokes, and they do represent 24 virtues of Dharma. This is the only difference.

Well, there is a huge discussion going on about symbolism of each element in the Indian Flag, including the meaning of colors and the true significance of the chakra-wheel. There are many different theories, but that would definitely exceed the frame of this essay. It can be that colors are also symbols taken from King Ashoka’s

time. However, the saffron color, and the white and the green colors, they are a nice combination, and apart from whatever symbolic is behind, the flag is extraordinary unique and beautiful. As it was already mentioned, King Ashoka turned to Buddhism at a certain moment. The moment when it happened, along with one reason why, well, all that was already discussed. Nevertheless, the situation here is not so simple; it is rather complex, I would say. I was already discussing and elaborating on Buddha and Buddhism in the separate essay with the title … SIDDHARTA GAUTAMA BUDDHA. Siddhartha Gautama Buddha came just at the very beginning of the Kali Yuga, which started in 700 B.C.E. as we know. He established the system very suitable exactly for this world age, for the Kali Yuga. This is the time period when the level of consciousness of the World is reduced drastically. There is a veil on the consciousness of the people. The collective consciousness of the World reached its lowest value, and the organizational power of the societies and all social structures has fallen as well so that the Cosmic Law very necessary to stay on the path of righteousness is being torn apart. This is the time when people’s concept of God is about to fade out so very much that only the simplest depictions can survive in order to be useful in offering the guidance for Humanity at least to some extent. Well, somebody said nicely, God is simple, everything else is complicated. This is all true actually. Remember, the short yuga cycle is in descent toward its own negative peak, what will happen around 500 C.E. Therefore, such spiritual systems incorporated in the appropriate paradigm should be developed that will reduce the knowledge about the true nature of the Universe and the entire Creation. People simply cannot understand that. This is why monotheism was introduced, but long before the very beginning of the Kali Yuga. At the beginning of the Kali Yuga, around the 700 B.C.E., the monotheism was supposed to be in use all over already. However, that doesn’t mean that God will slam the door completely and that all connections toward him are supposed to be broken. Not at all! At the contrary, he left the door open for all those who are ready to enter the Kingdom of Heaven. This part of the game was significantly highlighted along with the appearance of Buddha. We are not supposed to follow the official proclamations of the Buddhism, because it did lose the basic message, just same as all other religions did lose the main underlying message being thought by every Avatar of Vishnu, by God himself. Intentionally or unintentionally, it does not matter how but the basic message is simply lost. And, what this basic message is supposed to be? Well, I already have exposed it many times …

THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN IS WITHIN YOU AND WHOSOEVER SHALL KNOW HIS TRUE SELF, THE ATMA, SHALL FIND IT.

This is again bringing us to the concept of the higher states of consciousness, what is the only way to reach God and to be one with him. Thus, there is a Cosmic Consciousness, the Enlightenment, or Nirvana, how Buddha has called it. However, this is still the lowest among the higher level of consciousness. There is still a God Consciousness behind, and finally the Unity Consciousness, the Brahma Chaitanya. When Kali Yuga descended, Buddha came to introduce Cosmic Consciousness to be the standard and to be easily reachable and available for everyone. It is not that he has forgotten the other two higher levels of consciousness. Not at all! Only thing, he knew they are not so applicable because they are far from the reality of the people. There is no sense to lament about Unity Consciousness when people can hardly reach Cosmic Consciousness. That is the reason he focused enormously on the Cosmic Consciousness itself. Official sources even today do not say all the truth about how Buddha reached his own enlightenment. They left open this problem, with the terrible story where he was supposedly starving to death and then … somehow … somehow … the enlightenment finally permeated him. This is not the complete truth. The story does not tell that in the final stage, he did find the simple technic for getting enlightenment and that is transcendence-based meditation. Very simple actually. This is how he elevated 5.000 people toward the enlightenment; just by the use of the transcendence-based meditation itself. Well, he even became the enemy of the state only because of this reason. Well, due to the Kali Yuga background, very soon, some people did drop a lot of fog and smoke on the transcendence-based meditation. Not to mention that the caste system was not to be considered and used during the Kali Yuga in any way. The caste system does not belong to the Kali Yuga. Well, now we are in a completely opposite situation. We came out from the Kali Yuga around 1700. C.E. and we are deep in the Dwapara Yuga already. We live in the ascending cycle of the Dwapara Yuga, the Bronze Age, and

we need a spiritual upliftment desperately. We have to do the complete renovation of the knowledge paradigm system. For all these reasons, we need transcendence-based meditation to become our everyday practice. We need this gate toward higher states of consciousness, and toward the God himself. The gate that was closed long ago, have to be reopened again. King Ashoka converged toward primordial Buddhism due to yet another one very important reason. It was proclaiming the ideal to manage social tensions and frustrations. Original Buddhism does proclaim the equality of all people irrelative of the caste system. It also promotes liberty as the basic right of all human beings. In addition, original Buddhism does proclaim fraternity so that it reduces animosity among different ethnic groups and nations. All three principles we are ready to assign to the French Revolution only, however, we are forgetting that all these principles have been given out by Buddha himself long before. The very famous expression … Liberté, Égalité, Fraternité …, belongs to Buddha actually. He was the first one to introduce these values just at the beginning of the Kali Yuga. Therefore, King Ashoka had many reasons to embrace original Buddhism, and this is exactly what he proudly did. Now, just to channelize this essay toward the conclusion, as it is obvious, we did find and we did decipher one big enigma on the History Timeline. King Ashoka is now there where he should be, and I guess some adjustments in the field of History Science will be very necessary. The discrepancy with official History is only 119 years. Please, take a look at the new illustration exposed below …

However, I do not think this is all by accident or by chance. We saw that all the Vishnu appearances are so very carefully mixed up and camouflaged, with the idea most probably, never to be found again, which immediately drives the conclusion all is intentional. Well, we can easily guess who did it. However, we are not going to discuss this topic right now, perhaps some other time. There is something else very interesting I’ve noticed. If we, by following above illustration, count carefully the years between the departure of Julius Caesar in 44 B.C.E., and the appearance of Jesus the Christ in 5 B.C.E., then we come to the number 39. This is exceeding very much the limit of 30 years how it should be as a maximum between two Vishnu appearances. We have an overflow of exactly nine years, and according to my opinion, this is definitely too much. Perhaps year or two could be tolerated, but nine years, this is definitely too much. Therefore, let’s try to find some logical explanations.

Fine, it can be this is just an exception to the rule of 30 years maximum as the gap can have it. However, I did not see such exceptions to the rule before, and it is hard to believe for me that this is the right option. Second option. If from the number 39 we now take off 2 times ten years as the minimum gaps after the Julius and before the Jesus, then we have 19 years of possible yet another incarnation duration of Vishnu for which we do not have any clue. This is very short, by the way, and it is not something ordinary. However, it can be that he was forced to leave abruptly. This is possible indeed, and therefore, we leave this option open. A remaining third option is an option that something is not all right with the moment of departure of Julius Caesar, and it did not happen in 44 B.C.E., how all sources do claim. This is possible as well. We saw many times with Vishnu incarnations that the declared departure moment was not the real departure moment. We saw many times that many lives were supposed to be merged together, and many historical figures sometimes, just to get the true story of one Vishnu incarnation. We can just easily recall the case of Jesus the Christ, or perhaps the Alexander the Great for instance. Therefore, that option would question the supposed assassination of Julius Caesar, and leave an option that he somehow survived this tragic event. In such a case, he could have changed his identity as well, just as in the situations already mentioned before. Or, he could just have watched behind the curtain on what is going on. He might have taken a vacation. Well, let’s say so. Furthermore, yet another variation of the same option is that it did not happen in the year 44 B.C.E., and somebody could have mixed up years again. After all, not for the first time; mixing calendars and years was, all that was just like a common agenda for the “history makers”. Nevertheless, at this moment I do not want to speculate. Indeed, I do not want to make any firm statement regarding this problem, and I do not want to declare anything. I’ve just exposed my humble opinions. The only thing what I can do right now is to conclude with the idea that we have solved one big problem on the History Timeline and that was King Ashoka the Great of India. However, we just noticed there are still some problems with the History Timeline. Nevertheless, we shall probably deal with such problems some other time.
