BATTLE PREPARATIONS

Head down the hallwa y, dodge the Beamos and go through the doorto reach the interior of Ganon's Castle. Underneath the bridge lead-ing to Ganondorf's Towe r, use the Lens of Truth to reveal a secre tpassage. Inside you will find a group of Fairies surrounded by DekuScrubs. Deflect the Deku Nuts back at the Deku Scrubs with theHylian Shield to see what they have for sale. When battle depletesyour supplies, revisit this hidden room to stock up again.

1 FIVE FIRES

Head to the right of the entrance to Ganon's Castle and walk thro u g hthe door with the Forest Medallion above it. You can work counter-clockwise around Ganon's Castle to finish each chamber branchingoff of the castle. Inside, eliminate the Wo l fos to reveal a small tre a s-u re chest. Light the four torches using Din's Fire, then aim a Fire Arrowat the unlit torch above the door to unlock it. The fifth torch needs tobe lit befo re the other four torches burn out. Enter the next ro o m .

THE FIRST FEW RUPEES

You need to collect all of the Silver Rupees to unlock the next door.To your immediate left, play the Song of Time to reveal a TimeBlock underneath the floating Silver Rupee. Wait for the nearby fanto stop blowing before collecting the Silver Rupee, then switch tothe Hover Boots and let a blast of air from the fan help push you tothe nearby ledge. Take your Hover Boots off and defeat theBeamos with a Bomb, then jump to the other platforms to collecttwo more Silver Rupees.

3 PUSHING ICE CUBES

The goal in this room is to remove the red ice blocking a rustyswitch that unlocks the door. You have a two-minute time limit. Toreach the red ice you must position a movable ice block underneaththe red ice. If you push one of the blocks into the wrong position,you can use the bottomless pit in the corner of room to reset theblock. First, push the movable ice block closest to the locked dooragainst the ice boulder, then push it into the hole in the middle ofthe floor. Push the other movable ice block over the previous iceblock, which is now flush with the floor. An ice boulder will stopthe block. Push it against the other ice boulder, then once againacross the room. It will stop underneath the red ice. Climb up andmelt the red ice with the Blue Fire and activate the rusty switchwith the Megaton Hammer. The door will unlock, allowing you toenter the next room.

CREATING A PATH

Enter the door with the Shadow Medallion above it. Play the Songof Time on the left side of the ledge to reveal some Time Blocks.From the Time Blocks, jump to the nearby ledge and collect theloot in the small treasure chest. Return to the entrance and shootthe unlit torch to your right to make a path of clear blocks appearfor a limited amount of time. Take the path of clear blocks, dodg-ing the Green Bubble along the way, and stop at the next ledge.

FINISH YOUR COLLECTION

Jump to the platform below with the switch on it, then equip yourIron Boots. The switch will raise a Hookshot point underneath theSilver Rupee floating in the air nearby. Use the Longshot to reachthe Hookshot point and climb up to collect another Silver Rupee.Equip your Kokiri Boots and jump to the ledge with the lockeddoor. Watch the fan and wait for it to stop. Quickly jump to thesmall pillar and back again to collect the last Silver Rupee, unlock -ing the door.

BOTTLED BLUE FIRE

Enter the door with the Water Medallion above it. Defeat theFreezzards in the room to unlock the door behind the barrier of redice, then collect the small treasure chest on the right side. Thesmall treasure chest on the left is a trap -- it will encase you in ice.Break up the stalactites surrounding the Blue Fire and fill up anempty bottle. Remove the red ice in front of the unlocked door,then get a refill of Blue Fire before entering the next room.

THE FOREST BARRIER

You will see the source of one ofthe barriers in this room. Shoot aLight Arrow into it to remove theForest Barrier from Ganondorf'sTower and finish the ForestChamber. Saria will take theplace of the barrier and you willbe warped out to the main room.

THE WATER BARRIER

Shoot a Light Arrow into theWater Barrier to remove it fromGanondorf's Tower and finishthe Water Chamber. PrincessRuto will take the place of thebarrier and you will be warpedout to the main room.

TO THE NEXT LEDGE

Defeat the Like Like with Bombsor a Fire Arrow, then light thetorch you lit earlier with a FireArrow to reveal the clear blocksagain. Jump to the next platformand activate the Lens of Truth. Itwill reveal two narrow pathsleading off the ledge. Take theleft path to the switch at theend. Activate the switch tounlock the next door, then fol-low the path back to the ledge.

Reveal the clear blocks once more. This time, light thetorch next to the door you just unlocked. It will do thesame thing as the previous torch, which is now out of

range. Quickly follow the steps created by the clear blocks toreach the switch below. Activate the switch to reveal a large treas-ure chest. Instead of revealing the clear blocks again, target thelarge treasure chest with your Longshot to pull yourself to it.Collect the Golden Gauntlets, then activate the Lens of Truth. Takethe narrow path, jumping the gap in the middle, and enter the lastroom of the Shadow Chamber.

COLLAPSING CHAOS

Equip your Goron Tunic andenter the door with the FireEmblem above it. Most of theplatforms in this room will sinkonce you walk on them. Theywill return to their original posi-tion after you've jumped off.Collect all of the Silver Rupeesto unlock the door on the otherside of the room.

First, jump onto the platform inthe middle of the room, then tothe platform to your right.Collect the Silver Rupee andreturn to the middle platform.Time a jump between the rotat-ing blasts of fire onto the ledgeon the opposite side of theroom. Collect another SilverRupee and return to the middleplatform.

Head to the ledge with the giantmovable block. Throw the blockacross the room to reveal anoth-er Silver Rupee. Collect it andreturn to the lowering platformagain. Follow the path to theledge with the Torch Slug on it.Defeat the Torch Slug, then col-lect the Silver Rupee. The giantblock you removed from the other side of the room created anextra surface, allowing you to reach the final Silver Rupee on aremote ledge. Return to the middle platform and target theHookshot point next to the unlocked door. Pull yourself overbefore the middle platform sinks into the lava, then enter the nextroom.

THE LAST GREAT FAIRY

Before you enter the next chamber, exit Ganon's Castle. Cross therainbow bridge and take a left. The strength of the GoldenGauntlets will allow you to remove the giant boulder at the end ofthe path. Inside, summon the Great Fairy by playing Zelda's Lullaby.She will enhance your defensive power by reducing the amount ofdamage enemies inflict on you by half. A white outline around yourhealth will signify the increase in defense. Return to Ganon'sCastle.

THE SHADOW BARRIER

Shoot a Light Arrow into theShadow Barrier to remove itfrom Ganondorf's Tower and fin-ish the Shadow Chamber. Impawill take the place of the barrierand you will be warped out tothe main room.

THE FIRE BARRIER

Shoot a Light Arrow into the FireBarrier to remove it fromGanondorf's Tower and finishthe Fire Chamber. Darunia willtake the place of the barrier andyou will be warped out to themain room.

THE LIGHT CHAMBER

The giant boulder blocking theLight Chamber is no match forthe Golden Gauntlets. Removethe giant boulder and enter thefirst room.

ENEMIES IN HIDING

Activate the Lens of Truth to spy the invisible Skulltula and Keesein the room. Defeat all of them to reveal a small treasure chest inthe middle of the room. Inside you will find a Small Key. Collect therest of the loot from the circle of small treasure chests. Half ofthem are traps that will encase you in ice, so if you're health is lowdon't worry about the extra loot. Use the Small Key to unlock thedoor to the next room.

THE FINAL CHAMBER

Enter the door with the Spirit Medallion above it. Collect all of theSilver Rupees to unlock the door to the next room. Pull the Armosstatues toward the middle of the room to give the moving spikesmore breathing room. This will make it easier to collect the SilverRupees. Defeat the Beamos and use the Longshot to collect thetwo Silver Rupees in the center of the room, then collect the restof the Silver Rupees. If you play the Sun's Song in the middle of theroom, you will reveal a Fairy.

HITTIN' SWITCHES

In the next room, defeat the To rch Slugs, then use a spin attack toa c t i vate the Crystal Switch on the other side of the bars. This willreveal a small tre a s u re chest nearby. Send a Bombchu through thehole in the top of the bars to activate the other Crystal Switch,unlocking the door. It may take a few tries to get the aiming right. Got h rough the unlocked door and enter the second part of this ro o m .

ANOTHER KEY

You will need a Small Key tounlock the next door. PlayZelda's Lullaby on the RoyalCrest engraved on the floor. Asmall treasure chest will dropnearby. Inside is a Small Key thatyou can use to continue to thenext room.

HIDE AND SEEK

Collect the five Silver Rupeeswithin one minute to unlock thenext door. First, use yourLongshot to collect the SilverRupee in the center of the room.The rest can be found around themiddle structure and the alcovesalong the walls. Dodge therolling boulders and collect all ofthe Silver Rupees to unlock thedoor and enter the next roombefore time runs out.

SEE THE TRUTH

The room appears to be a deadend until you take another lookwith the Lens of Truth equipped.It will reveal a secret passage inthe far wall. As you enter thesecret passage, watch out forthe Wallmaster.

THE LIGHT BARRIER

Shoot a Light Arrow into theLight Barrier to remove it fromGanondorf's Tower and finishthe Light Chamber. Rauru willtake the place of the barrier andyou will be warped out to themain room.

THE SPIRIT BARRIER

Shoot a Light Arrow into the Spirit Barrier to remove it fromGanondorf's Tower and finish the Spirit Chamber. Nabooru willtake the place of the barrier and you will be warped out to the mainroom. The barrier surrounding Ganondorf's Tower will disappear,allowing you to walk right in.

2 5POWER OF THE SUN

Use a Fire Arrow to burn away the cobwebs blocking the windowin the ceiling, allowing sunlight to enter the room. With the MirrorShield, reflect the sunlight onto the sun symbols on the walls. Oneof them will unlock the door to the last room of the SpiritChamber, the others will drop Wallmasters into the room.
