SYSTEMS – K-LINE SPEEDTILLER The Speedtiller by K-Line Industries was released

in early-mid 2010 and it has been a great success

in the marketplace.

The Speedtiller is a highly effective disc-tilling machine ideal for soil conditioning in the presence of high levels of crop residues. With a full soil disturbance, trash is cut and distributed evenly providing a protective barrier to retain moisture and increase trash flow in tine seeders. All discs are individually mounted on rubber suspensions with heavy duty bearing assemblies allowing maximum working depths and excellent soil conditioning due to the disc arm action & offset. A depth gauging roller is provided at the rear giving the desired crumbling effect on the soil profile and excellent seedbed preparation. The K-Line Speedtiller operates best at high speeds i.e. 8-15km/hr, giving a fuel efficient operation and allowing stubble residues to pass easily through tined seeders. The Speedtiller can be supplied in vineyard and orchard models down to 1.75m wide through to 9m machines with full hydraulic lift & fold. MOWING YOUR WAY WITH K-LINE Throughout the past two years, the K-Line team has

been busy designing & manufacturing turf & finishing

mowers.

These mowers have been developed in conjunction

with turf farmers & have been tested extensively in

the field, providing great results.

Precision Cut Turf Mower & the VR Mower.

The Precision Cut Turf Mower is a revolutionary

mower, enabling large areas to be mown with the

The VR Mower is a precision-cut finishing mower

with a high tip speed. Some of its benefits include

K-Line’s K55 Easy Fit Coulter Kits are an effective

way to upgrade your tine seeder to increase its

stubble and trash handling capabilities.

These coulters come in both single & double units

and have a lot of benefits, including decrease in soil

throw, increase in point life & less downtime at

seeding time, taking away the dreaded wrapping of

vine type weeds.

With simple fitting adjustments, fully bushed pivots

(non-greasing) & robust construction & design,

these are the product for you. The coulters are a

great product & are proving very successful in the

field.

We have kits available to fit most standard drills and

a wide range of options.

The advent of minimum and no-tillage cropping

systems has led to farmers seeking better ways of

handling stubble. Traditional methods such as

burning stubble are now far less popular while other

management techniques include baling it just after

harvest or working it into the ground where it breaks

down gradually over time.

The 2700 Trashcutter is a fast, simple & effective

unit used to mulch both winter & summer stubbles. It

has proven to be an extremely useful tool in

providing residue cover for conserving moisture over

the summer & autumn periods. Farmers are proving

this machine to cut & spread evenly on the surface

with little soil disturbance, facilitating the biological

processes in breaking down the stubbles & returning

nutrients to the soil.

The Trashcutter has some unique benefits including

the cutting up of summer weeds, the root system is

left intact in the soil giving a holding power to

minimize wind erosion, extremely even trash

distribution giving excellent trash flow, an ability to

angle discs for soil disturbance when incorporating

chemicals & controlled cutting of stubble and other

vine weed, bushes and grasses.

The 2700 also has the ability to be set on angles up

to 7.5°, allowing effective soil disturbance. This has

proven extremely useful when incorporating pre-

emergent chemicals and creating a tilth,

encouraging weed germination in some stubbles.

The angle can also be used to cut the stubble out of

the ground, giving maximum ground cover.

Roly-Poly Control/Vine Weeds: Farmers in the

north of the state have also found the 2700 as a

successful tool in eradicating and cutting out roly-

poly in both pasture and cropping phases. In a

pasture phase, roly-poly can be mulched with

minimal disturbance to natural grasses. Roly-poly in

a cropping phase can be cut and chopped allowing

seeders to pass with minimal blockages.

This machine is available in both hydraulic or spring

pressure varies in sizes of widths from 9.14m-

24.38m. Now’s the time to start treating your
