กรมทดนเปนหนวยงานทรบผดชอบในภารกจดานทดน ทงดานการคมครองสทธในทดน

ของบคคลและจดการทดนของรฐ และการบรการดานทดน ผานกระบวนการรงวดท าแผนท การออกหนงสอ

แสดงสทธในทดน การจดทะเบยนสทธและนตกรรมเกยวกบอสงหารมทรพย การสงเสรมธรกจอสงหารมทรพย

และการจดการขอมลสารสนเทศทดน เพอใหประชาชนมความเชอมนและมนคงในการถอครองทดน ควบคไปกบ

การบรการทมประสทธภาพ โปรงใส และเปนธรรม ตลอดจนการบรหารจดการทดนของรฐใหมประสทธภาพ

และเกดประโยชนสงสดโดยถอปฏบตตามหลกเกณฑ วธการตามประมวลกฎหมายทดนซงเปนกฎหมายหลก

สบเนองจากกรมทดนไดจดท าโครงการแปลกฎหมายทเกยวของกบภารกจของกรมทดน

เปนภาษาองกฤษ โดยไดจางศนยการแปลและการลามเฉลมพระเกยรต คณะอกษรศาสตร จฬาลงกรณมหาวทยาลย

แปลประมวลกฎหมายทดนและกฎหมายอนๆ ทเกยวของ ซง “ประมวลกฎหมายทดน (The Land Code)”

นบเปนฉบบทแปลเปนภาษาองกฤษอยางเปนทางการฉบบแรกของกรมทดน (Official Translation) นบตงแต

ประมวลกฎหมายทดนไดใชบงคบมา

นอกจากนน กรมทดนไดรวบรวมค าศพทภาษาองกฤษจากประมวลกฎหมายทดนมาจดท า

แยกไวอกหนงเลม ชอวา “ค าศพทจากประมวลกฎหมายทดน” เพอความสะดวกรวดเรวแกผทตองการ

ทราบเฉพาะค าศพทภาษาองกฤษเกยวกบการบรหารงานทดนในแตละมาตราของประมวลกฎหมายทดนเพอ

เผยแพรใหขาราชการและเจาหนาทกรมทดนรวมทงประชาชนทวไปผสนใจ กรมทดนหวงเปนอยางยงวา

“ค าศพทจากประมวลกฎหมายทดน” เลมนจะเปนประโยชนในการศกษาและใชเปนขอมลไวอางองได

ตามสมควร

Preface

Department of Lands is a government agency responsible for land which are

protecting right in land of an individual person and managing public land through the process of

conducting land survey and mapping, issuing land right document, registering right and juristic act on

immovable property, promoting real estate business, and managing land information for confidence and

security of people in land tenure together with efficient, transparent, and fair service. Department of Lands

also effectively manages public land for maximum benefit by following prescribed rules and procedures

in the Land Code which has been enforce since 1 December B.E. 2497 (1945) as the major and

essential law in performing duty.

Department of Lands set up “the Project of Law Translation which Related to

Department of Lands Mission into English Version” by hiring Chalermprakiat Center of Translation

and Interpretation, Faculty of Arts, Chulalongkorn University to translate the Land Code and other

related laws. The English version of “The Land Code” is the first official translation of

the Department of Lands since the Land Code has been enforced.

As a consequence, Department of Lands collected English vocabulary from the Land Code

and separately compiled them into a new booklet named “Vocabulary from The Land Code” for

convenience of those who wish to search land administration vocabulary in each section of the Land Code.

It is also to publish for officials of Department of Lands and interested people. Department of Lands

hopes that “Vocabulary from The Land Code” will be benefit for education and use as reference

information accordingly.
