It is as if the band didn’t even know the picture was being taken, it is a totally natural photo, which adds to the simplistic effect of the album cover, which further adds to the genre. The only bit of colour on the album cover is the album title, which is in a very distinctive red to draw the viewer’s attention to the title the moment they set eyes on the product. Even the band name, ‘The Kooks’, isn’t in red it is in the traditional black and white to match the rest of the album cover.
