Our first Lenten Fish Fry will be March 8 th , and every Friday thereafter except Good Friday. Come out and help with preparations or just come and enjoy delicious fish and good company. Scheduled March Events: Bingo every Monday Night except for certain Holidays; Fourth Degree Business Meeting March 12 th ; Wednesday Social Afternoon March 13 th , and every Wednesday after that date; KC Council Business Meeting and Rosary March 14 th ; Fourth Degree Rosary 7:30AM Saturday March 16 th ; Country Music Show March 19 th ; Council Fraternal Meeting March 26th with Meal, Award Presentation, and Guest Speaker; Pro-Life Mass OLPH Catholic Church, March 27 th at 6:00 p.m.; Founders Day and Fish Fry, Friday March 29 th ; Assembly Mass, Friday March 29 th at OLPH at 6:00 p.m.; Fifth Sunday Rosary, Mass, AND Breakfast. Please remember our deceased members, and our sick Brothers and Families in your prayers. I want to thank Brother Harvey Heideman for his many years of devoted service to our Order. Brother Harvey has called Bingo for many years, works in the Monday night kitchen, inventoried and purchased Kitchen Supplies, and so much more. Brother Harvey, please enjoy a well-earned rest. The pay was not too good, but I know your Eternal 401K Reward in Heaven will be huge! Well Done Brother Harvey, God Bless You. Please save the dates for the upcoming Fall-outs for Confirmation Masses: Tuesday, May 7 at Sts. Peter & Paul Church; Monday, June 3 at Sts. Peter & Paul Church; Friday, June 7 at Holy Family Church and Monday, June 10 at OLPH Church. At the last meeting, the Assembly approved the transfers of three Sir Knights - SK John Malek, SK Rev. Sean Knox and SK Rev. James Hamel. They are members of Council 17179 at Lackland AFB in San Antonio. The proposer for them was SK Will Villegas. Our next meeting will be on Tuesday, March 12, 2019. We’ll have a meal at 6:30 pm and say the Rosary starting at 7:10 pm and the meeting will begin at 7:30 pm. (1)

4th Degree Faithful Navigator (continued) Our next Rosary is on Saturday, March 16, at 7:30 am. Please come out to join us to say the Rosary at Msgr. Bily’s monument and then have some refreshments afterwards.

The last Friday of each month, the Assembly has a Mass for Deceased Sir Knights at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Church at 6:00 pm. This month the date is March 29, 2019.

2019 Dues are DUE now! Second notices have been mailed out. We still have a few members that have not paid, please pay them as soon as possible. You can mail your dues to SK Frank Piletere at 1414 Ensenada Dr., Canyon Lake, TX 78133.

Don Volz Thank you to all who have paid the 2019 membership dues. If you haven't yet paid, please do so as soon as possible. You can pay your dues at any meeting or Monday night bingo. You can also mail your dues payment to me at 1015 Meridian Drive, New Braunfels, TX 78132-4414. Make your dues payment check or money order payable to "K of C Council 4183" and write "2019 Dues" in the memo line. Dues are $40 for Regular members and $10 for Honorary members. Honorary Life members do not pay dues. The Council's Retention Committee has begun making personal calls to unpaid members to learn how the Council can resolve the payment issue. 2019 K of C Basketball Free Throw Championship

The annual Council 4183 Free Throw Championship was held Sat, Jan 26, 2019 at Sts Peter and Paul gym. 39 boys and girls ages 9-14 years competed in their respective age divisions. 11 winners were crowned council champions. Girls Division: 9yr-Camilla Cabrera, 10yr-Kate Wommack, 12yr-Victoria West, 13yr-Madison Hurta, 14yr-Chayse Goetz. Boys Division: 9yr-Southern Wyatt, 10yr-Luke Leitgen, 11yr- Alex Felderhoff, 12yr-Jose Acevedo, 13yr-John Rangel, 14yr-Travis Parma. Over 75lbs of non-perishable food items were donated to benefit the SOS NB Food Bank. All winners received a $25 Dick’s Sporting Goods gift card.
