PART I

WHAT IS THE KINGDOM OF GOD?

MK 4:30 And He said, “How shall we picture the kingdom of God, or by what parable shall we present it? MK 4:31 “It is like a mustard seed, which, when sown upon the soil, though it is smaller than all the seeds that are upon the soil, MK 4:32 yet when it is sown, it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants and forms large branches; so that THE BIRDS OF THE AIR CAN NEST UNDER ITS SHADE.”

THE KINGDOM OF THE FATHER AND OUR LORD JESUS CHRISTMT 26:29 “But I say to you, I will not drink of this fruit of the vine from now on until that day when I drink it new with you in My Father’s kingdom.”

REV 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “ The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.” REV 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come,

COL 1:13 For He rescued us from the domain of darkness, and transferred us to the kingdom of His beloved Son, COL 1:14 in whom we have redemption, the forgiveness of sins.REV 5:9 And they sang a new song, saying,“ Worthy are You to take the book and to break its seals; for You were slain, and

PURCHASED for God with Your blood men from every tribe and tongue and people and nation.

REV 5:10 “YOU HAVE MADE THEM TO BE A KINGDOM and priests to our God; and they will REIGN upon the earth.”

2TI 4:1 I solemnly charge you in the presence of God and of Christ Jesus, who is to judge the living and the dead, and by His appearing and His kingdom: 2TI 4:2 preach the word; be ready in season and out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort, with great patience and instruction.

JESUS IS OUR KINGJN 18:36 Jesus answered, “My kingdom is not of this world. If My kingdom were of this world, then My servants would be fighting so that I would not be handed over to the Jews; but as it is, My kingdom is not of this realm.” JN 18:37 Therefore Pilate said to Him, “So You are a king?” Jesus answered, “You say correctly that I am a king. For this I have been born, and for this I have come into the world, to testify to the truth. Everyone who is of the truth hears My voice.”

MT 25:31 “But when the Son of Man comes in His glory, and all the angels with Him, then He will sit on His glorious throne. MT 25:32 “All the nations will be gathered before Him; and He will separate them from one another, as the shepherd separates the sheep from the goats; MT 25:33 and He will put the sheep on His right, and the goats on the left.MT 25:34 “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My

Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.

HE BROUGHT THE KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH

MK 1:14 Now after John had been taken into custody, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of God, MK 1:15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and

believe in the gospel.”LK 11:20 “But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come

upon you.

LK 17:20 Now having been questioned by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God was coming, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed;

LK 17:21 nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”

RO 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

JN 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” JN 3:4 Nicodemus *said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?” JN 3:5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. JN 3:6 “That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.

It is a Kingdom where God is the King and the Ruler. Since it is a Kingdom there are citizens in that Kingdom. A Kingdom is where the King rules over his people. There are laws that are observed in the Kingdom. There are authorities in the Kingdom and there are subjects in the Kingdom. The Lord Jesus Christ is the Lord of All. He is the King of that Kingdom. He is the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He is the Lord and the King of His people. The Kingdom of God is a spiritual Kingdom and is above all other kingdoms. Our Lord Jesus Christ brought that Kingdom from Heaven to Earth. It is the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth. It is the will of the Father done on earth in the lives of the citizens and sons of His Kingdom. Man can not go up to God and Heaven so God brought down Heaven to Earth and the King came down.

The Kingdom of God is God’s domain and sovereignty in the heavens and the earth. He reigns over all and is above all. Though there are many kingdoms in this world and there are dominions, principalities and powers seen and unseen God is above all. Nothing happens that is not without the knowledge of God. Nothing is received by man without it given from Heaven above. The throne of God is established in the heavens and His kingdom rules over all.

Isaiah 45:22-23 declares:

“Look unto me, and be ye saved, all the ends of the earth: for I am God, and there is none else. I have sworn by myself, the word is gone out of my mouth in righteousness, and shall not return, That unto me every knee shall bow, every tongue shall swear.”

Philippians 2:9-11:

“Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.”

God and His Christ are seated on the Throne and shall reign forever and ever. In that day all shall bow before Him and confess that He is Lord. Since the beginning and before time in memorial God is God and Lord. And He has made everything in the heavens and in the earth. Satan and his angels rebelled against God. God has set a time by which He shall destroy the devil and his angels. He has made man in His likeness and image. God is holy, righteous and sovereign. This He has shared with man when He said to him to replenish the earth and have dominion and in righteousness. The enemy who is Satan deceived man and caused them to sin. Satan wasn’t able to dominate God in Heaven but has succeeded in man’s sphere. Man then and the whole world became under the power of the enemy. Satan has his kingdom and rules on the children of disobedience. God didn’t wink at this but has promised and has sent His Son in the likeness of the man and took the form of a man died on the cross, condemned sin in the flesh and redeemed us. Christ’s death and resurrection cut-off and defeated Satan’s power over the lives of the people. Sin and death were abolished through the offering of the body of the Son of God. God’s dominion over the lives of men has taken over the dominion and power of Satan. That is why the Kingdom of God has come and His Will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. The Spirit of God can now dwell man and reign in his heart. Man was separated from God because of his rebellion, sin and Satan. Satan is now rendered powerless by the blood of the Lamb and by His resurrection. Man was reconciled to God through the death of His Son and shall have life because of His Life.

God’s intention was to take over what Satan has robbed from humanity. He made man to replenish the earth and have dominion and in righteousness. He then established the nation Israel to prepare the birth of the King of the Kingdom. When King Jesus arrived He started and brought the Kingdom of God on earth. The Kingdom of God is preached and manifested by its citizens in preparation for His coming back again and He will take over and reign forever and ever.

We become the sons of God and citizens of heaven through faith in Christ the Son of God. God brought heaven to earth through His Son Jesus Christ. We now can be saved and have eternal life which are experienced in heaven but now made possible on earth through our Lord Jesus Christ. Man can now have the divine life of God, the life of Christ and live in Him and with Him. Eternal life is now a reality. It is a taste of heaven on earth when we believe and accept Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior— when we repent from our sins and believe the gospel or the good news of the kingdom that Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again the third day. It was lost in the Garden of Eden but was restored now in Christ. Our souls are saved and we await the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ wherein shall be the redemption of our body. Our physical body shall be changed into a spiritual glorified body, the mortal into immortal and the temporal into eternal. And this Earth and the Heaven shall be made anew. All the promises and privileges are now available to all who shall come to Him through His Son and enter the Kingdom. The Kingdom of God is here in our midst. God came and reign in our hearts and in our lives. You have made a pact with God and entered the New Covenant with Him through the death and blood of His Son which is the everlasting Covenant- the forgiveness of sins. God has given us a new heart and a new spirit. He has regenerated and made us completely a new creation. We are now in Christ. Righteousness, peace, joy are now possible through His Spirit dwelling in us.

In the kingdom we have Jesus Christ our King and Lord. We were transferred into His Kingdom from the kingdom of Satan. He becomes the Lord of our lives. He becomes the owner of everything in us. Our Helper is the Holy Spirit who strengthens us to pass through this temporary earthly dwelling. He is the Governor who guides, empowers, lives and walks with us. We are cleansed, forgiven and made righteous. We are set free from wickedness and from the works and powers of darkness. He has given us power over the enemy. We are above the kingdom of darkness and are seated with Him in the Heavenlies where Christ is seated. All these were made possible through the death and resurrection of Christ. Through the Spirit, our faith and words we can call into existence that which is nothing according to His word and power. The impossible becomes a possibility. We can command the spirits and submit to us. He has made and called us to be His priests and kings. As priests we can offer our lives as living sacrifices holy and acceptable to God and we can offer and bring to salvation many souls before Him. As kings we are appointed to reign now and in the age to come. We rule on Earth through His righteousness, blessings, glory and power and we are able to declare it and show to the world and to all principalities and powers.

The kingdom of God is here and shall come. Christ will come again and fulfill the kingdom of God. Now the kingdom of this world shall become the kingdom of the Lord and His Christ. The saints in the Kingdom rules and shall rule and reign with Him forever and ever.

Glory be to God in His saints through Jesus Christ.

PART II

HOW TO ENTER THE KINGDOM OF GOD?

Since man has fallen in creation when he was tempted by the Devil (Gen 3:1-19) the whole world then was under the power of the devil (1Jn 5:19) and all were shut up under sin (Gal 3:22). We were dead in our trespasses and sins and walked

6

Page 7: The Kingdom of Godchristianfreebooks.weebly.com/.../1/4/7/...of_god.docx  · Web viewIt is a Kingdom where God is the King and the Ruler. Since it is a Kingdom there are citizens

according to the prince of power of the air, the devil (Eph 2:1-2). We therefore should be regenerated spiritually and be saved.

NEW BIRTH, SALVATION

1. To enter the Kingdom of God one should be born again (Jn 3:3-7).JN 3:3 Jesus answered and said to him, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” JN 3:4 Nicodemus *said to Him, “How can a man be born when he is old? He cannot enter a second time into his mother’s womb and be born, can he?” JN 3:5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. JN 3:6 “ That which is born of the flesh is flesh, and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. JN 3:7 “Do not be amazed that I said to you, ‘You must be born again.’

2. How one can be born again?

We are called by our Lord Jesus Christ to repent and believe the Gospel (Mk 1:15).MK 1:15 and saying, “The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”

To enter the Kingdom of God one has to repent and believe the gospel of the Kingdom. Since sin has dominated and enslave our souls for many years we have to forsake it and return to God. And the Kingdom of God has a gospel or good news. The Kingdom of God has good news from its King. The good news of the Kingdom is that our King the Lord Jesus Christ came to destroy sin, death and the devil in our lives through His death and resurrection. To enter the Kingdom we must repent from our sins and put our faith to the King of the Kingdom. Our Lord Jesus Christ died for our sins, was buried and rose again on the third day.

Christ crucified is the gospel of the Kingdom1CO 15:1 Now I make known to you, brethren, the gospel which I preached to you, which also you received, in which also you stand, 1CO 15:2 by which also you are saved, if you hold fast the word which I preached to you, unless you believed in vain. 1CO 15:3 For I delivered to you as of first importance what I also received, that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 1CO 15:4 and that He was buried, and that He was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures,1CO 15:11 Whether then it was I or they, so we preach and so you believed.

GAL 3:1 You foolish Galatians, who has bewitched you, before whose eyes Jesus Christ was publicly portrayed as crucified? GAL 3:2 This is the only thing I want to find out from you: did you receive the Spirit by the works of the Law, or by hearing with faith? GAL 3:3 Are you so foolish? Having begun by the Spirit, are you now being perfected by the flesh?

1CO 1:23 but we preach Christ crucified, to Jews a stumbling block and to Gentiles foolishness, 1CO 1:24 but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God.AC 8:12 But when they believed Philip preaching the good news about the kingdom of God and the name of Jesus Christ, they were being baptized, men and women alike.

AC 5:42 And every day, in the temple and from house to house, they kept right on teaching and preaching Jesus as the Christ.

AC 8:35 Then Philip opened his mouth, and beginning from this Scripture he preached Jesus to him.

We become born again through faith in the Son of God through the gospel and receiving Him. He has become the penalty for our sins and by Him we are saved through faith. JN 1:12 But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, even to those who believe in His name, JN 1:13 who were born, not of blood nor of the will of the flesh nor of the will of man, but of God.

1PE 1:23 for you have been born again not of seed which is perishable but imperishable, that is, through the living and enduring word of God.1PE 1:25 BUT THE WORD OF THE LORD ENDURES FOREVER.”

JAS 1:18 In the exercise of His will He brought us forth by the word oftruth, so that we would be a kind of first fruits among His creatures.

And this is the word which was preached to you.

RO 10:8 But what does it say? “THE WORD IS NEAR YOU, in your mouth and in your heart”—that is, the word of faith which we are preaching, RO 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved; RO 10:10 for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation. RO 10:11 For the Scripture says, “WHOEVER BELIEVES IN HIM WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED.” RO 10:12 For there is no distinction between Jew and Greek; for the same Lord is Lord of all, abounding in riches for all who call on Him; RO 10:13 for “WHOEVER WILL CALL ON THE NAME OF THE LORD WILL BE SAVED.”

8

Page 9: The Kingdom of Godchristianfreebooks.weebly.com/.../1/4/7/...of_god.docx  · Web viewIt is a Kingdom where God is the King and the Ruler. Since it is a Kingdom there are citizens

RO 10:14 How then will they call on Him in whom they have not believed? How will they believe in Him whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? RO 10:15 How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, “HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!” RO 10:16 However, they did not all heed the good news; for Isaiah says, “LORD, WHO HAS BELIEVED OUR REPORT?” RO 10:17 So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

When we become His sons, God sent the Spirit of His Son to our hearts. We are His sons and heirs.

GAL 3:26 For you are all sons of God through faith in Christ Jesus.GAL 4:6 Because you are sons, God has sent forth the Spirit of His Son into our hearts, crying, “ Abba! Father!” GAL 4:7 Therefore you are no longer a slave, but a son; and if a son, then an heir through God.

3. Then our souls are saved.EPH 2:8 For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God.1PE 1:9 obtaining as the outcome of your faith the salvation of your souls.JN 3:15 so that whoever believes will in Him have eternal life. JN 3:16 “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. JN 3:17 “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. JN 3:18 “ He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.JN 3:36 “He who believes in the Son has eternal life; but he who does not obey the Son will not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him.”

This gospel of the Kingdom is the power of God unto salvation to everyone who believes (Rom 1:16). It is through the preaching of the crucified Christ that our faith are brought forth through hearing and hearing (Rom 10:17) and the Spirit of God is given to us through faith (Gal 3:1-2). The apostles continued to preach the gospel of the Kingdom or the Crucified Christ for people to enter the Kingdom of God.

PART III

WHAT IS LIFE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD?

The Scriptures tell us that Jesus and His apostles preached and taught much about the Kingdom of God. In the Kingdom of God there are many things the believer experience. He is a new creation. He is no more a slave to sin and was released from it by our Lord Jesus (Rev 1:5). He is freed from darkness, sicknesses, diseases and from the power of Satan (Act 26:18). The works of the enemy are destroyed in His life. He now becomes a son and an heir of the Kingdom (Jn 8:34-36). God has become his King and Lord. He now walks in the power of the Spirit and in the name and blood of Jesus. His life is now different from the life he had outside the Kingdom. This life is a life of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. He is not alone or an orphan now but He has the Son. He has the Father. And He has the Spirit of God dwelling in Him and he dwelling in God.

The Life in the Kingdom in the Spirit of God and the fruit of righteousness, peace and joy make the citizens of the Kingdom dominate, rule, influence and effect change in the kingdoms of this world.

THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS TAUGHT

LK 9:11 But the crowds were aware of this and followed Him; and welcoming them, He began speaking to them about the kingdom of God and curing those who had need of healing.

LK 9:60 But He said to him, “Allow the dead to bury their own dead; but as for you, go and proclaim everywhere the kingdom of God.”

AC 1:3 To these He also presented Himself alive after His suffering, by many convincing proofs, appearing to them over a period of forty days and speaking of the things concerning the kingdom of God.AC 19:8 And he entered the synagogue and continued speaking out boldly for three months, reasoning and persuading them about the kingdom of God.

AC 28:23 When they had set a day for Paul, they came to him at his lodging in large numbers; and he was explaining to them by solemnly testifying about the kingdom of God and trying to persuade them concerning Jesus, from both the Law of Moses and from the Prophets, from morning until evening.

The Life of the believer is the Life of God living in Him. The Kingdom of God is in our midst. It is here on earth. The Kingdom of God is righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

10

Page 11: The Kingdom of Godchristianfreebooks.weebly.com/.../1/4/7/...of_god.docx  · Web viewIt is a Kingdom where God is the King and the Ruler. Since it is a Kingdom there are citizens

LK 17:20 Now having been questioned by the Pharisees as to when the kingdom of God was coming, He answered them and said, “The kingdom of God is not coming with signs to be observed; LK 17:21 nor will they say, ‘Look, here it is!’ or, ‘There it is!’ For behold, the kingdom of God is in your midst.”

RO 14:17 for the kingdom of God is not eating and drinking, but righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.

RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

1. RIGHTEOUSNESS

MT 6:33 “But seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.

God the Father is righteous so is His children in the Kingdom.

JN 17:25 “O righteous Father, although the world has not known You, yet I have known You; and these have known that You sent Me; JN 17:26 and I have made Your name known to them, and will make it known, so that the love with which You loved Me may be in them, and I in them.” 1JN 2:29 If you know that He is righteous, you know that everyone also who practices righteousness is born of Him. 1JN 3:7 Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous;REV 19:8 It was given to her to clothe herself in fine linen, bright and clean; for the fine linen is the righteous acts of the saints. REV 22:11 “ Let the one who does wrong, still do wrong; and the one who is filthy, still be filthy; and let the one who is righteous, still practice righteousness; and the one who is holy, still keep himself holy.”

a. Righteousness is obedience

In the Kingdom of God the believer lives righteously. Obedience to the will of God has now become a reality and a priority to him – from being children of disobedience to children of obedience. He has spent much time in the past in the flesh but now he spends his life in walking in the light, living righteously and keeping His commandments. In the Kingdom his mind is renewed. His acts are redeemed. His words are graced. He shines and gives light to the world.

11

Page 12: The Kingdom of Godchristianfreebooks.weebly.com/.../1/4/7/...of_god.docx  · Web viewIt is a Kingdom where God is the King and the Ruler. Since it is a Kingdom there are citizens

1JN 2:3 By this we know that we have come to know Him, if we keep His commandments.1JN 2:5 but whoever keeps His word, in him the love of God has truly been perfected. By this we know that we are in Him: 1JN 2:6 the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked. 1JN 2:7 Beloved, I am not writing a new commandment to you, but an old commandment which you have had from the beginning; the old commandment is the word which you have heard. 1JN 2:8 On the other hand, I am writing a new commandment to you, which is true in Him and in you, because the darkness is passing away and the true Light is already shining.

EPH 2:2 in which you formerly walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, of the spirit that is now working in the sons of disobedience.

b. Righteousness is doing good

In the Kingdom of God the sons abound in good works. The love of God is manifested to all. We are created for good works in Christ Jesus (Eph 2:10).MT 25:34 “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. MT 25:35 ‘For I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat; I was thirsty, and you gave Me something to drink; I was a stranger, and you invited Me in; MT 25:36 naked, and you clothed Me; I was sick, and you visited Me; I was in prison, and you came to Me.’ MT 25:37 “Then the righteous will answer Him, ‘Lord, when did we see You hungry, and feed You, or thirsty, and give You something to drink? MT 25:38 ‘And when did we see You a stranger, and invite You in, or naked, and clothe You? MT 25:39 ‘When did we see You sick, or in prison, and come to You?’ MT 25:40 “The King will answer and say to them, ‘Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me.’

JAS 2:8 If, however, you are fulfilling the royal law according to the Scripture, “YOU SHALL LOVE YOUR NEIGHBOR AS YOURSELF,” you are doing well.JAS 2:15 If a brother or sister is without clothing and in need of daily food, JAS 2:16 and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and be filled,” and yet you do not give them what is necessary for their body, what use is that?

AC 2:42 They were continually devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.

12

Page 13: The Kingdom of Godchristianfreebooks.weebly.com/.../1/4/7/...of_god.docx  · Web viewIt is a Kingdom where God is the King and the Ruler. Since it is a Kingdom there are citizens

AC 2:43 Everyone kept feeling a sense of awe; and many wonders and signs were taking place through the apostles. AC 2:44 And all those who had believed were together and had all things in common; AC 2:45 and they began selling their property and possessions and were sharing them with all, as anyone might have need.MT 19:21 Jesus said to him, “If you wish to be complete, go and sell your possessions and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow Me.” MT 19:22 But when the young man heard this statement, he went away grieving; for he was one who owned much property. MT 19:23 And Jesus said to His disciples, “Truly I say to you, it is hard for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. MT 19:24 “Again I say to you, it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle, than for a rich man to enter the kingdom of God.”

c. Righteousness is not practicing sin

The children of the Kingdom are not slaves to sin because the King has set them free (Jn 8:23-24). They were released from sin by the blood of Jesus (Rev 1:5). True righteousness in the kingdom of God is goodness, pureness and holiness. It is not continuing sin. The power of sin is destroyed in their lives. The Spirit of God moves them to walk uprightly and they do not live according to the sinful nature (Rom 8:1-2). The sons live and walk by the Spirit (Gal 5:25). The Kingdom of God is freedom from the works of the enemy. In the kingdom of God we do not practice sin (Gal 5:19-21).

1JN 3:7 Little children, make sure no one deceives you; the one who practices righteousness is righteous, just as He is righteous; 1JN 3:8 the one who practices sin is of the devil; for the devil has sinned from the beginning. The Son of God appeared for this purpose, to destroy the works of the devil. 1JN 3:9 No one who is born of God practices sin, because His seed abides in him; and he cannot sin, because he is born of God. 1JN 3:10 By this the children of God and the children of the devil are obvious: anyone who does not practice righteousness is not of God, nor the one who does not love his brother.JN 8:34 Jesus answered them, “Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin. JN 8:35 “ The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever. JN 8:36 “So if the Son makes you free, you will be free indeed.GAL 5:19 Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, GAL 5:20 idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, GAL 5:21 envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

1CO 6:9 Or do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived; neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor homosexuals, 1CO 6:10 nor thieves, nor the covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor swindlers, will inherit the kingdom of God. 1CO 6:11 Such were some of you; but you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ and in the Spirit of our God.

When the sons of the Kingdom walk in righteousness they influence the world around them. The righteous is given the favor of God and men. He rules and dominates his sphere of influence. The Kingdom of the kings works differently from the world. The kingdom of the enemy try to influence by wickedness, threat and fear but the children of the Kingdom offer hope, truth and well being.

God works mightily in their prayers and shall shine in the kingdom here and in the hereafter.1PE 3:12 “FOR THE EYES OF THE LORD ARE TOWARD THE RIGHTEOUS, AND HIS EARS ATTEND TO THEIR PRAYER, BUT THE FACE OF THE LORD IS AGAINST THOSE WHO DO EVIL.”MT 13:43 “ Then THE RIGHTEOUS WILL SHINE FORTH AS THE SUN in the kingdom of their Father. He who has ears, let him hear.

2. PEACE

ISA 9:6 For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders; And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace. ISA 9:7 There will be no end to the increase of His government or of peace, On the throne of David and over his kingdom,

a. A Kingdom of Peace

In the Kingdom peace lives in the hearts of His people. The Prince of Peace is within them. Sicknesses, troubles, affliction and persecution do not affect or influence the peace that rests in their hearts for they know God is able and has delivered them from all the works of the enemy.MK 5:34 And He said to her, “Daughter, your faith has made you well; go in peace and be healed of your affliction.”LK 7:50 And He said to the woman, “Your faith has saved you; go in peace.”

Phil 4:6 Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. Phil 4:7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all comprehension, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

GOD brings peace to our lives. In the Kingdom of God the sons live in peace even when the world is in the midst of trouble. There is peace in the family. Peace in relationships with men. Peace in business. Peace in the community of believers. Peace in territory.

LK 19:41 When He approached Jerusalem, He saw the city and wept over it, LK 19:42 saying, “If you had known in this day, even you, the things which make for peace! But now they have been hidden from your eyes. LK 19:43 “For the days will come upon you when your enemies will throw up a barricade against you, and surround you and hem you in on every side, LK 19:44 and they will level you to the ground and your children within you, and they will not leave in you one stone upon another, because you did not recognize the time of your visitation.”

LK 24:36 While they were telling these things, He Himself stood in their midst and *said to them, “Peace be to you.” JN 14:27 “Peace I leave with you; My peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be fearful. JN 16:33 “These things I have spoken to you, so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I have overcome the world.”

b. Ambassadors of Peace

God initiated peace between God and man through Jesus Christ by reconciling the world through the death of His Son. The sons of the Kingdom received peace in their hearts and lives. They become an influence to a trouble world. The world shall look upon the citizens of the Kingdom the peace and the serenity they have inside. Peace is felt in midst when the saints are present. The citizens seek and sow peace.

RO 5:1 Therefore, having been justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ,

2CO 5:18 Now all these things are from God, who reconciled us to Himself through Christ and gave us the ministry of reconciliation, 2CO 5:19 namely, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not counting their trespasses against them, and He has committed to us the word of reconciliation. 2CO 5:20 Therefore, we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God were making an appeal through us; we beg you on behalf of Christ, be reconciled to God.

AC 10:36 “The word which He sent to the sons of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ (He is Lord of all)—

JN 20:21 So Jesus said to them again, “Peace be with you; as the Father has sent Me, I also send you.”

15

Page 16: The Kingdom of Godchristianfreebooks.weebly.com/.../1/4/7/...of_god.docx  · Web viewIt is a Kingdom where God is the King and the Ruler. Since it is a Kingdom there are citizens

JN 20:26 After eight days His disciples were again inside, and Thomas with them. Jesus *came, the doors having been shut, and stood in their midst and said, “Peace be with you.”

2CO 1:4 who comforts us in all our affliction so that we will be able to comfort those who are in any affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.

JAS 3:13 Who among you is wise and understanding? Let him show by his good behavior his deeds in the gentleness of wisdom. JAS 3:14 But if you have bitter jealousy and selfish ambition in your heart, do not be arrogant and so lie against the truth. JAS 3:15 This wisdom is not that which comes down from above, but is earthly, natural, demonic. JAS 3:16 For where jealousy and selfish ambition exist, there is disorder and every evil thing. JAS 3:17 But the wisdom from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, reasonable, full of mercy and good fruits, unwavering, without hypocrisy. JAS 3:18 And the seed whose fruit is righteousness is sown in peace by those who make peace.

RO 2:9 There will be tribulation and distress for every soul of man who does evil, of the Jew first and also of the Greek, RO 2:10 but glory and honor and peace to everyone who does good, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

The kingdom of fear and darkness is repelled by the Kingdom of peace.

RO 16:20 The God of peace will soon crush Satan under your feet. The grace of our Lord Jesus be with you.

3. JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT

GAL 5:22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,

The world is sad. The world is in despair. People are living and sitting in darkness. Jesus came to give life and abundant life. True meaning and joy in life are only found in God. The children of the Kingdom experience unexplainable joy in their hearts. This is the joy that fills their souls and moves and gives light to the room. It is the fruit of the Holy Spirit in us. The Spirit of God dwells in us and gives us that joy. Satan has offered the world false happiness through the love of the world, the pride of life and the lust of the eyes. This only caused man to crave more and more and in the end destroys him but the joy in the Holy Spirit which can not be bought or worked for fulfills the inner cravings and emptiness of our souls. It is given to the children of the Kingdom freely in Christ.

16

Page 17: The Kingdom of Godchristianfreebooks.weebly.com/.../1/4/7/...of_god.docx  · Web viewIt is a Kingdom where God is the King and the Ruler. Since it is a Kingdom there are citizens

The Kingdom of God when found by man he will do and give up everything to have that joy. It is a treasure that no wealth in this world can be compared with or exchanged for. It is the knowledge of the love of God for us and that He has forgiven us from our sins. That joy is knowing the Lord and Savior of the Kingdom— that is the joy of salvation. And the Spirit of God dwelling in them that brings forth joy within without. The children abide in Christ and bears fruit producing complete joy.

a. Salvation in the Kingdom brings great joyMT 13:44 “ The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure hidden in the field, which a man found and hid again; and from joy over it he goes and sells all that he has and buys that field.

LK 2:10 But the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid; for behold, I bring you good news of great joy which will be for all the people; LK 2:11 for today in the city of David there has been born for you a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.

LK 10:20 “Nevertheless do not rejoice in this, that the spirits are subject to you, but rejoice that your names are recorded in heaven.”LK 10:21 At that very time He rejoiced greatly in the Holy Spirit, and said, “I praise You, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, that You have hidden these things from the wise and intelligent and have revealed them to infants. Yes, Father, for this way was well-pleasing in Your sight. LK 10:22 “ All things have been handed over to Me by My Father, and no one knows who the Son is except the Father, and who the Father is except the Son, and anyone to whom the Son wills to reveal Him.” LK 10:23 Turning to the disciples, He said privately, “Blessed are the eyes which see the things you see, LK 10:24 for I say to you, that many prophets and kings wished to see the things which you see, and did not see them, and to hear the things which you hear, and did not hear them.”

LK 15:7 “I tell you that in the same way, there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance.

b. Abiding in Christ makes joy completed in the Kingdom

JN 15:4 “ Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself unless it abides in the vine, so neither can you unless you abide in Me. JN 15:5 “I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing.

17

Page 18: The Kingdom of Godchristianfreebooks.weebly.com/.../1/4/7/...of_god.docx  · Web viewIt is a Kingdom where God is the King and the Ruler. Since it is a Kingdom there are citizens

JN 15:6 “If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. JN 15:7 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you. JN 15:8 “My Father is glorified by this, that you bear much fruit, and so prove to be My disciples. JN 15:9 “Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. JN 15:10 “ If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love; just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and abide in His love. JN 15:11 “These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full.

MT 21:43 “Therefore I say to you, the kingdom of God will be taken away from you and given to a people, producing the fruit of it.

c. Answered Prayers bring Joy in the Kingdom

JN 14:12 “Truly, truly, I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do, he will do also; and greater works than these he will do; because I go to the Father. JN 14:13 “ Whatever you ask in My name, that will I do, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. JN 14:14 “If you ask Me anything in My name, I will do it. JN 14:15 “ If you love Me, you will keep My commandments. JN 15:7 “If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, ask whatever you wish, and it will be done for you.

JN 16:24 “ Until now you have asked for nothing in My name; ask and you will receive, so that your joy may be made full.

1JN 5:14 This is the confidence which we have before Him, that, if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

THE LIFE IN THE KINGDOM OF GOD IS RIGHTEOUSNESS, PEACE AND JOY IN THE HOLY SPIRIT. This is the Life in the Kingdom of God. These are not seen in the kingdom of the enemy and in the lives of the people. The sons of the Kingdom shine and give light to the dying world. We come to destroy the works of the enemy when we walk in righteousness. We give peace to the world as we received peace from the Lord. The world sees real joy and true happiness as they manifest in the lives of the believers in the Kingdom.

PART IV

WHAT ARE THE POWERS OF THE KINGDOM?The Father is our God, the Lord Jesus Christ is our King and the Holy Spirit is our Governor. The King of the Kingdom is powerful. His power manifests in His Kingdom. His Spirit manifests in the sons of the Kingdom. Wherever they go the Lord’s mighty hand is with them. The enemy is defeated and destroyed as the Kingdom of God advances. The fullness of the Spirit and the faith in them make things possible. Sons of the Kingdom speak the Word in faith and things come to pass. The Word spoken in faith and in authority calls things that are not seen to manifest in the physical. Gates are opened and closed. Faith moves mountains and destroys the works of the enemy. The forces and power of Satan are loosed from the lives of the people, the devil is cast out and the people are turned into the power of God. The Kingdom of God comes in power. Hell is weakened. The enemy is powerless. Light overcomes darkness. Deliverance, healings, signs and wonders are in the Kingdom of God.

And at the fulfillment of the Kingdom the Lord comes in the His glory and power and the Kingdom of this world has become the Kingdom of the Lord and His Christ.

We are called to dominate the Kingdom of Satan with the Kingdom of God.AC 26:18 to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the dominion of Satan to God, that they may receive forgiveness of sins and an inheritance among those who have been sanctified by faith in Me.’

EPH 6:10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in the strength of His might. EPH 6:11 Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand firm against the schemes of the devil. EPH 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. EPH 6:13 Therefore, take up the full armor of God, so that you will be able to resist in the evil day, and having done everything, to stand firm.

19

Page 20: The Kingdom of Godchristianfreebooks.weebly.com/.../1/4/7/...of_god.docx  · Web viewIt is a Kingdom where God is the King and the Ruler. Since it is a Kingdom there are citizens

EPH 6:14 Stand firm therefore, HAVING GIRDED YOUR LOINS WITH TRUTH, and HAVING PUT ON THE BREASTPLATE OF RIGHTEOUSNESS, EPH 6:15 and having shod YOUR FEET WITH THE PREPARATION OF THE GOSPEL OF PEACE; EPH 6:16 in addition to all, taking up the shield OF FAITH with which you will be able to extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. EPH 6:17 And take THE HELMET OF SALVATION, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. EPH 6:18 With all prayer and petition pray at all times in the Spirit, and with this in view, be on the alert with all perseverance and petition for all the saints, EPH 6:19 and pray on my behalf, that utterance may be given to me in the opening of my mouth, to make known with boldness the mystery of the gospel, EPH 6:20 for which I am an AMBASSADOR in chains; that in proclaiming it I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.

1JN 2:6 the one who says he abides in Him ought himself to walk in the same manner as He walked.

EPH 4:8 Therefore it says, “WHEN HE ASCENDED ON HIGH, HE LED CAPTIVE A HOST OF CAPTIVES, AND HE GAVE GIFTS TO MEN.” EPH 4:9 (Now this expression, “He ascended,” what does it mean except that He also haddescended into the lower parts of the earth? EPH 4:10 He who descended is Himself also He who ascended far above all the heavens, sothat He might fill all things.) EPH 4:11 And He gave some as apostles, and some as prophets, and some as evangelists, and some as pastors and teachers,EPH 4:12 for the equipping of the saints for the work of service, to the building up of the body of Christ;

FAITH, AUTHORITY, POWER, DOMINION, SPIRIT OF GOD, HEALINGS, SIGNS AND WONDERS AND KINGDOM FULFILLMENT

Of Faith, Authority, Power and Dominion

1CO 4:20 For the kingdom of God does not consist in words but in power.EPH 1:18 I pray that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened, so that you will know what is the hope of His calling, what are the riches of the glory of His inheritance in the saints, EPH 1:19 and what is the surpassing greatness of His power toward us who believe. These are in accordance with the working of the strength of His might EPH 1:20 which He brought about in Christ, when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His right hand in the heavenly places, EPH 1:21 far above all rule and authority and power and dominion, and every name that is named, not only in this age but also in the one to come. EPH 1:22 And He put all things in subjection under His feet, and gave Him as head over all things to the church, EPH 1:23 which is His body, the fullness of Him who fills all in all.

20

1CO 4:8 You are already filled, you have already become rich, you have become kings without us; and indeed, I wish that you had become kings so that we also might reign with you.MT 17:20 And He *said to them, “Because of the littleness of your faith; for truly I say to you, if you have faith the size of a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible to you. MT 21:21 And Jesus answered and said to them, “Truly I say to you, if you have faith and do not doubt, you will not only do what was done to the fig tree, but even if you say to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and cast into the sea,’ it will happen.MT 16:8 But Jesus, aware of this, said, “You men of little faith, why do you discuss among yourselves that you have no bread? MT 16:9 “Do you not yet understand or remember the five loaves of the five thousand, and how many baskets full you picked up? MT 16:10 “Or the seven loaves of the four thousand, and how many large baskets full you picked up?

HEB 11:6 And without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is and that He is a rewarder of those who seek Him.MT 6:13 ‘And do not lead us into temptation, but deliver us from evil. [For Yours is the kingdom and the power and the glory forever. Amen.]’ MT 22:29 But Jesus answered and said to them, “You are mistaken, not understanding the Scriptures nor the power of God. MK 5:30 Immediately Jesus, perceiving in Himself that the power proceeding from Him had gone forth, turned around in the crowd and said, “Who touched My garments?”

Of the Spirit of God, Healings, Signs and Wonders

LK 1:35 The angel answered and said to her, “The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Most High will overshadow you; and for that reason the holy Child shall be called the Son of God. LK 4:14 And Jesus returned to Galilee in the power of the Spirit, and news about Him spread through all the surrounding district.LK 4:36 And amazement came upon them all, and they began talking with one another saying, “What is this message? For with authority and power He commands the unclean spirits and they come out.” LK 5:17 One day He was teaching; and there were some Pharisees and teachers of the law sitting there, who had come from every village of Galilee and Judea and from Jerusalem; and the power of the Lord was present for Him to perform healing. LK 6:19 And all the people were trying to touch Him, for power was coming from Him and healing them all.

LK 10:9 and heal those in it who are sick, and say to them, ‘The kingdom of God has come near to you.’

LK 10:19 “Behold, I have given you authority to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing will injure you.LK 11:20 “But if I cast out demons by the finger of God, then the kingdom of God has come upon you.LK 24:49 “And behold, I am sending forth the promise of My Father upon you; but you are to stay in the city until you are clothed with power from on high.” AC 4:33 And with great power the apostles were giving testimony to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus, and abundant grace was upon them all. AC 6:8 And Stephen, full of grace and power, was performing great wonders and signs among the people.AC 10:38 “You know of Jesus of Nazareth, how God anointed Him with the Holy Spirit and with power, and how He went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.RO 1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.

RO 8:14 For all who are being led by the Spirit of God, these are sons of God.RO 15:13 Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you will abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit. RO 15:19 in the power of signs and wonders, in the power of the Spirit; so that from Jerusalem and round about as far as Illyricum I have fully preached the gospel of Christ. 1CO 1:18 For the word of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 1CO 1:24 but to those who are the called, both Jews and Greeks, Christ the power of God and the wisdom of God. 1CO 2:4 and my message and my preaching were not in persuasive words of wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power, 1CO 2:5 so that your faith would not rest on the wisdom of men, but on the power of God.

Of Kingdom Fulfillment

MT 25:34 “Then the King will say to those on His right, ‘Come, you who are blessed of My Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world. MT 24:30 “And then the sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky, and then all the tribes of the earth will mourn, and they will see the SON OF MAN COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF THE SKY with power and great glory.

22

MT 26:64 Jesus said to him, “You have said it yourself; nevertheless I tell you, hereafter you will see THE SON OF MAN SITTING AT THE RIGHT HAND OF POWER, and COMING ON THE CLOUDS OF HEAVEN.” REV 20:6 Blessed and holy is the one who has a part in the first resurrection; over these the second death has no power, but they will be priests of God and of Christ and will reign with Him for a thousand years. REV 5:12 saying with a loud voice, “ Worthy is the Lamb that was slain to receive power and riches and wisdom and

might and honor and glory and blessing.” REV 7:12 saying, “ Amen, blessing and glory and wisdom and thanksgiving and honor and power and might, be to our God forever and ever. Amen.”

FINALLY, the Kingdom of this world shall become the Kingdom of God. His kings will reign with Him forever!

LK 1:31 “And behold, you will conceive in your womb and bear a son, and you shall name Him Jesus. LK 1:32 “He will be great and will be called the Son of the Most High; and the Lord God will give Him the throne of His father David; LK 1:33 and He will reign over the house of Jacob forever, and His kingdom will have no end.”

DA 2:44 “In the days of those kings the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which will never be destroyed, and that kingdom will not be left for another people; it will crush and put an end to all these kingdoms, but it will itself endure forever.

DAN 7:9 “I kept looking Until thrones were set up, And the Ancient of Days took His seat; His vesture was like white snow And the hair of His head like pure wool. His throne was ablaze with flames, Its wheels were a burning fire. DAN 7:10 “A river of fire was flowing And coming out from before Him; Thousands upon thousands were attending Him, And myriads upon myriads were standing before Him; The court sat, And the books were opened. DAN 7:11 “Then I kept looking because of the sound of the boastful words which the horn wasspeaking; I kept looking until the beast was slain, and its body was destroyed and given tothe burning fire. DAN 7:12 “As for the rest of the beasts, their dominion was taken away, but an extensionof life was granted to them for an appointed period of time.

The Son of Man Presented DAN 7:13

23

“I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him. DAN 7:14 “And to Him was given dominion, Glory and a kingdom, That all the peoples, nations and men of every language Might serve Him. His dominion is an everlasting dominion Which will not pass away; And His kingdom is one Which will not be destroyed. REV 11:15 Then the seventh angel sounded; and there were loud voices in heaven, saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord and of His Christ; and He will reign forever and ever.”REV 11:17 saying, “We give You thanks, O Lord God, the Almighty, who are and who were, because You have taken Your great power and have begun to reign. REV 12:10 Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night.HEB 12:28 Therefore, since we receive a kingdom which cannot be shaken, let us show gratitude, by which we may offer to God an acceptable service with reverence and awe;

Therefore, brethren as He has called us into His Kingdom and glory, let us as sons and kings of the Kingdom walk in love, in truth, in faith and in the Spirit. Live a life of righteousness, peace and joy in the Holy Spirit. Effect change and bring light to wherever and whatever situation you are in.  He has called us to witness and bring light about His Kingdom. Let the world see Christ in us. Our Lord wherever He went preached the good news of the Kingdom. Bring salvation through Christ and let us not stop there but go on to maturity as we are changed by the Spirit of the LORD from glory to glory. The Kingdom of God is a life and power in the Spirit of God. And His Kingdom is overcoming evil and bearing fruits. We rule in righteousness, faith, power, authority and have dominion until Jesus comes again and reigns forever and ever. Let us reign with Him. NOW!

We therefore offer to God our lives an acceptable service with reverence and awe.

He has made us become kings and priests.

We are created to reign with Him.

The kingdom of Satan shall be destroyed.

The children of the kingdom are set free from sin and become heirs.

The children of the kingdom walk in righteousness.

Jesus is the coming King of kings and Lord of Lords.

The saints shall rule with Him and shall be given the kingdom.

The kingdoms of this earth shall end and shall become the kingdom of the Lord and His Christ.

It is the kingdom of the Father and His Son forever and ever.

God and the Lamb sit on the throne and rule forever and ever.

And the kings shall reign with Him.

A MUST FOR PREACHERS:

When we preach or deliver our sermons we should link them to the Kingdom of God. The citizens of the Kingdom must realize and understand that we have a life inside the Kingdom of God on earth. And this life should influence everything that our hands touch, our mouth speaks unto, our hearts and faith reach to deliver those outside the Kingdom from darkness to light.

The Presence and Coming of the Kingdom of God was the central message and act of our Lord Jesus.

Teaching:His teaching was designed to show men how they might enter the Kingdom of God.

Mt 5:20 For I tell you, unless your righteousness goes beyond that of the experts in the law and the Pharisees, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Mt 7:21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the kingdom of heaven – only the one who does the will of my Father in heaven. Jn 3:3 Jesus replied, “I tell you the solemn truth, unless a person is born from above, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”.

Works:His mighty works were intended to prove that the Kingdom of God had come upon them Mt 12:28 But if I cast out demons by the Spirit of God, then the kingdom of God has already overtaken you.

Parables:His parables illustrated to His disciples the truth about the Kingdom of God. Mt 13:10 Then the disciples came to him and said, “Why do you speak to them in parables?” 11 He replied, “You have been given the opportunity to know the secrets of the kingdom of heaven, but they have not.

Prayer:And when He taught His followers to pray, at the heart of their petition were the words, "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven". Mt 6:9 So pray this way: Our Father in heaven, may your name be honored, 10 may your kingdom come, may your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Fellowship:On the eve of His death, He assured His disciples that He would yet share with them the happiness and the fellowship of the Kingdom. Lk 22: 28 “You are the ones who have remained with me in my trials. 29 Thus I grant to you a kingdom, just as my Father granted to me, 30 that you may eat and drink at my table in my kingdom, and you will sit on thrones judging the twelve tribes of Israel.

Fulfillment:And He promised that He would appear again on the earth in glory to bring the blessedness of the Kingdom to those for whom it was prepared." Mt 25: 31 “When the Son of Man comes in his glory and all the angels with him, then he will sit on his glorious throne…. 34 Then the king will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world

The term "Kingdom of God" occurs four times in Matthew (12:28, 19:24, 21:31, 21:43), fourteen times in Mark, thirty-two times in Luke, twice in the Gospel of John (3:3, 5), six times in Acts, eight times in Paul, and once in Revelation (12:10). Truths to Consider in Preaching and Delivering Sermons

1. The Kingdom of God was brought on earth by our Lord Jesus Christ who paid for our sins and paved the way for us through His death and resurrection. People can enter through repentance and faith in Him.

2. Do we preach the Kingdom of God? When we preach a sermon do we connect or relate them to the Kingdom of God. Our congregation should see the bigger picture. Jesus and the apostles preached the Kingdom of God.

3. When preaching the gospel or Christ crucified cast the vision of the Kingdom of God on earth before the sinner receives Christ for He is our Lord in the Kingdom and Savior from the penalty of our sins.

4. When we preach a sermon do we center on the individual’s needs or to the Kingdom of God? In the Kingdom of God his needs are met and thereby he bears more fruit in the Kingdom and in his sphere of influence.

5. The Kingdom of God is out there and is in you. We experience the King and His Kingdom and His rule as we influence others outside the Kingdom. It is both understood and experienced.

6. Is the Kingdom of God not yet here? It is NOW.

7. Preaching the Kingdom of God moves the church to be separated from the world but not out of touch from the world. It is a life lived in their midst.

8. We do not only have a mission to preach the Kingdom - its message but also to make known its existence to all who shall enter in through Christ our Lord and Savior.

9. In the Kingdom of God message the sinner should make a decision for Christ and the believer a commitment for Christ.

10. The Kingdom of God message is salvation through the finished work of the King on the Cross and the Lordship of the King on our life.

And I saw the souls of those who had been beheaded because of their testimony of Jesus and because of the word of God,

and those who had not worshiped the beast or his image,

and had not received the mark on their forehead and on their hand;

and they came to life and reigned with Christ for a thousand years.

REV 21:22 I saw no temple in it, for the Lord God the Almighty and the Lamb are its temple.

REV 21:23 And the city has no need of the sun or of the moon to shine on it, for the glory of God has illumined it, and its lamp is the Lamb.

REV 21:24 The nations will walk by its light,

and the kings of the earth will bring their glory into it.
