The Navy Department an-gganm for the United Staten asi whole 287 casualties for May2, 1945, of the U. S. Naval Forces(Navy, Marine Corps and CoastGuard) not heretofore released onNavy Department total casualtyIM, consisting of 170 dead, 90wounded and 27 missing. Thesecasualties bring the total report-ed to next of kin and released forpublication since December 7,1041, to May 2, 1945, to 102,383.
This list includes only thosefrom Florida.
